Melody's POV

My eyes opened slowly. Where was I? My head hurt quite a bit. I slowly brought my right hand up to my head, pressing it against my forehead as if that would stop the pain. Looking around a bit, all I saw was bitch black.

Absolute darkness... Though there were little white dots all around me. Up, down, left, right. Wait... what was up and down? Could left actually be down, and down is right?...

Either way, I had absolutely no ideas as to what the hell they were, and yet I wanted to find out. Hesitantly, I reached out to try and grab a dot. A dot that was seemingly right in front of me. Except I grabbed nothing. Oh, they were much farther away than originally thought.

I didn't know if that was a good or bad thing. Rolling my eyes, I tried to walk over to a particularly large, glowing orb. Only for my foot to not land on anything and caused me to do a few involuntary barrel rolls. I yelped out from the sudden movement, flailing around to try and stabilize myself. After doing around 10 barrel rolls, I started to get quite dizzy.

Thankfully, I stopped soon after. Once I finally stopped, i tried moving as if I was swimming; I floated on my stomach, moving my arms and legs in a swimming motion. Surprisingly enough, it worked! With that, I began walking— Swimming? No, making my way over to the large, somewhat glowing orb that I set my goals on.

Really short chapter, I know! But I'll post a longer one tomorrow! Promise!
