You cannot win my heart with a fleeting crush.
X-ray vision won’t break my walls,
Wait with patience—and the guard soon falls.
Vain words and gifts are not enough.
Understand me behind the surface, behind the act.
Tempt me not with charm so bright,
Show me things that feel just right.
Remove my doubts, don’t force my hand,
Questions will test if you understand.
Pierce through my silence, my hesitant gaze,
Only then can you enter this freezing maze.
Not just whispers, I need actions loud,
Move my heart like the shift of clouds.
Listen close, 'cause my heart speaks low.
Know my fears but never let go.
Joy isn’t just laughter but a breathing space,
If you can hold my storms, you’ll earn your place.
Hardened hearts still long to be free,
Gently, love will flow through me.
Find my secrets in the way I smile,
Each scar is a story, each wound worthwhile.
Don’t rush, for love is not a race,
Chase not the end, but the steps we embrace.
Break my barriers, not with haste, but stay,
And there, you'll see—my love will walk your way.
