(unedited)

I woke hours later sprawled across my desk. My alarm clock radio turned on as music blasted in my ear, immediately my hand reached and shut it off. I groaned and sat up, sighing I closed my binder that held the homework I was working on. Not a moment later my blue landline began ringing, picking it I heard Marty's voice.

"Hey, uh... where are you?" He asked, in the background I could hear Doc muttering to Einstein his dog.

I frowned and looked at the time, 1:15am. "At home, probably where you should be too, Martin."

His sigh was heard from over the crunchy phone, I knew he hated being called his first name. "I-jeez, Doc wanted us at Twin Pines for 1:15, you're not here E."

I blinked before my eyes widened and I hung up, grabbing my bright neon jacket I quietly escaped my house, not having Biff or my mother wake up. "Shit, shit, shit." I mumbled while hopping on my board. One thing I will regret about agreeing to be Doc's apprentice with Marty is giving up my hours of good sleep.

Luckily the mall was a meer two minute ride from my house. As I rolled down the entry to the parking lot I saw a massive bright light blasting in front of Doc and Marty before a suited up Delorean appeared skirting to a stop. It had wires, new parts, and what appeared to be Einstein inside. I stopped my board and kicked it up as I approached the big 'Twin Pines Mall' sign before the parkade. I saw Doc open it to say hello to Einstein but, what the hell just happened? A Delorean appearing out of a lighting blast? I began walking down to them as Doc hopped in explaining how the car worked to Marty, by the time I walked down into view Doc was laughing about something in the car.

"...Wha- uh what's so funny?" Marty asked, I couldn't help noticing his camera he used to record with. So many fun memories saved on that thing.

"That's the day I invented time travel!" Doc exclaimed and he looked at me from the machine grinning. "Ella! It works! My time machine works!"

I blinked at a loss of words. "A- a what now? That's a Delorean doc." My hand lazily pointing at the car.

"The Delorean is the time machine! I was just telling Marty about the moment I invented time travel! I remember it vividly, I was standing on the edge of my toilet hanging a clock, the porcelain was wet, I slipped hit my head on the sink, and when I came to I had a revelation! A vision! A picture in my head! A picture of this!"

Doc moved slightly out of the way and I leaned over Marty to see the glowing "Y" in the back of the car he was pointing at. "The Flux Capacitor, this is what makes time travel possible!" I nodded still kinda confused when Marty looked to me before I had a chance to move. The close proximity triggered a flight reflex which resulted in me quickly moving back to stand normally. I thank god for the darkness covering the hue building on my cheeks. This can not be a trend for me after my realization earlier.

"Time travel and a Flux capasatator..." I mumbled butchering the name, trying to distract myself.

The look in Doc's eyes were wild and excited. Marty continued to film as I stood up and walked around the car taking it in. It was insane looking, even far fetched for the new cars coming out recently. I smiled at the license plate, "OUTATIME", this thing was pretty sick. As I made my way back to Marty, he put down his camera smiling at Doc.

"My god has it been that long." Getting out of the car, Doc scanned the area. "Things have certainly changed around here. I remember when this was all farm land as far as the eyes could see. Old man Peabody, owned all of this..." I looked to Marty as Doc talked and he looked back to me shrugging.
