[ALTERNATE UNIVERSE]
This fic takes place in an alternate universe of Ninjago, much like my other works! This means that certain characters, like Mistaké and Garmadon, never died like they did in the canon story. Additionally, Morro will be present and a part of the ninja team (though not a ninja himself); in my "reader insert" universe, Morro was saved by Wu at the end of season 5, and has since aided the ninja during their adventures (after a long, grueling redemption arc, and an even longer amount of time spent earning the team's trust). This universe also includes some altered aspects and my own headcanons, such as those for oni and vengestone, so don't be surprised if you read something that might differ from the canon!

This fic won't contain any reader x character shipping, all relationships are purely platonic— there's plenty of wonderful fics out there that DO contain romantic x reader relationships, but mine will not be one of them. I want to focus more on the angst >:)
