Emberfall had been started, the Fire Casters departed from Cassaport en route to the corrupted land, to see once more what damage they had caused. Siegfried, along with Anatole and the other soldiers had gone to Ki no doku to aid his men in case of an attack and as they flew overhead, Zorina and the other Lightning Warriors stood in front of a grave, belonging to Avery Griffin.

"A shame he's gone," Kazuko said as he stands near it, Zorina's patience started to wane, "Where is she?!" She said, "Why are you complaining, Zorina?" A female voice said behind her, sending a sense of shock into Zorina as she turns around to see a large flame rising from the ground, "Mother?!" "Is that how you greet me Zor?" Abigail said as the blazing fire died out and out came Abigail Ignaitus, "We are sorry to be late, lady Abigail," Amelia said as she led Liam and Elias through the graveyard. "Finally, about time," Kazuko replied as the three greeted Mrs. Ignaitus. "Please, just call me Abigail," she said as she greeted them back, "So, mother, why do ask for us six-" "Five Zorina" Elias said, reminding her that Griffin is no more, "-Five, do you have anything for us?" She asked, Abigail looked at her daughter, she looks at her with worry, "It's the underworld." 

"The underworld?" Kazuko said in shock, Abigail nodded, "You may have remembered that the throne that was once there belonged to me, I need your aid to take it back." "Why do you want the underworld back, mother? why us?" Zorina asked, she smiled as she used her hands to create a portal "The new emperor there is ironically a cryomancer, The Artic Whistler, he is in search for way out and my forces cannot fight against him, your powers can shatter his ice, which in turn we could use-" "-To overtake him," Zorina finishes, Abigail only smiled as she pointed towards the portal, "Now come, we must move with haste, my men are waiting," But before they could leave, "Hey I see someone," Liam said, pointing towards the direction, "Took him long enough." Abigail smiled as she saw Melver running towards them as fast as he could and he finally reaches them, "Sorry to keep you waiting Lady Abigail," Melver greeted with a salute, "Just call me-" she said in frustration, face palming herself out of the frustration, "-You know what? forget about the lady Abigail thing, let's just go." she sighed as she went through the portal and into the underworld.

As all of them came into the portal, so did Afleck and the Fire Casters saw the ruins of the Magnus' Kingdom even in the thick and gloomy fog, it was now empty, quiet even. All Seven of them landed, "This don't feel right, boss," Duncan said to Raptor, he held his swords tight to have a sense of security. "Indeed, I agree, this feels odd." he replied, "Ella, Thompson, secure check the inside of that castle, me and the others will secure the grounds," Afleck commanded as he held his chain sword, "Will do sir," both of them said as they went in the building, "Duncan, Raptor, check the cellar, I wanna see if there are still prisoners." The two of them nodded and went through a different entrance, "Me an you?" Raptor asked, Afleck looked at him, "We investigate that cave down there," He pointed towards and entrance of the cave. "Alright then," Raptor said as he retracted his wings.

Back at Duncan and Raptor, "This place stinks!" Duncan said as he pinched his nose to stop smelling the stench, "I can agree" Draven said, but before he could respond he hear shouting, "Hello?! Anyone there?!" it was a male's voice calling for help, "Anyone?" "How can someone survive this long in this place?" Duncan asked, "Only one way to find out," Draven said as he ran towards the direction of the voice, he was doubting of it was a trap, but he trusted his gut, going through the dark hallways, through multiple rooms and finally, the both of them are now in a torture room. "What had Nero been doing here?" Raptor said, and they heard breathing from the left side of the room, "Oh finally, help has arrive," Silverback sighed with relief. "S-Silverback?" Raptor said in disbelief "We thought you were dead!" "Ah, I'm still alive, remember the curse?" He responded, "Duncan, untie him," "Will do sir," Duncan replied as he started to untie Silverback, "I have to hand it to you Sil, your a tough spirit to break, even against Nero." He replied and just as Duncan finished untying him, they heard footsteps coming towards them. "Get ready." Silverback said, getting his Dadao "Who goes there?" Duncan asked in a low voice to Silverback, "She is known as....... The dragon slayer."

"Silverback, you are............ where are you?" She said, confused that there was no one in the room. "Nyxaria!" Silverback shouted, revealing his hiding place, she was surprised that he got out of the chains, "Human, we still have unfinished business," She said as she took out her Hook Swords, "Oh we still have, demon," He said, coming closer with caution, his sword ready, "You took out Squal," "So what?" "That dragon was the dragon of the ancient, passed down from the greatest dragon riders!" He shouted, "And about time that dragon died, he's going to become a fossil anyways" she replied in defiance, Silverback's face darkened from what he heard, "How come you have fallen from being a dragon tamer to being a dragon slayer?" He said, glaring at her, Duncan and Raptor rose from where they were hiding, "Your outnumbered, demon," Duncan said as he pointed his crossbow at her, his finger in the trigger, "Stand down Duncan, I have something to settle with her." Silverback said as he looked at them, both nodding as they stayed in their positions, lowering their weapons.                                                           

They lowered their weapons, Raptor put his spear back on his back but not his shield, she looked at him and glared at him yet his face did not changed his expression. "You gave me no choice and now, I want to change that Nyxaria," Silverback said lowering his Dadao, "And what choice do you present me?" She said with a stern voice, "Let us leave the clan and I will assure you that I will do no more harm to your kind." He pulled out a glass sphere from his satchel and made her eyes widen, "You found....." "Indeed, let us leave and live and I shall bring back your beloved pet-" He held the sphere in one hand, "-Or I shall end him." He dropped it and catched it on time before it hit the floor, "I give you the choice." He said, "You wont dare-" "-I am willing to let this species go extinct if you dare not let us pass." "And what if I dont comply?" She said, gripping the Hook Swords tighter, getting to a battle stance, "You know what happens next."

She rushed towards him, catching him off guard and landing a hit on him, sending him tumbling and dropping the sphere, "Duncan, Raptor, get the sphere!" Silverback said as he fell with a thud. Raptor was able to get the sphere, clutching it in his grasp, Duncan pulled out his crossbow to aid Silverback, shooting his arrows towards her direction, "Foolish human, you cannot harm me with those arrows!" She laughed as she got closer to a downed Silverback, he was frantically searching for his sword, being able to get to it in time to block her sword, Duncan kept shooting arrows at her, trying to distract her, "Fine human, if that's how you want to play, then so be it," She hissed and ran towards him, "Raptor, sir, get the sphere out of here, I can handle her," "Nay brother, I wont leave you here." He said, gently putting down the sphere and pulling out his sphere, "Cover us," he whispered, switching his regular arrows for a explosive one, "What?!" Nyxaria shouted in shock as the arrow made impact with her body, sending the east side tower of the castle to collapse, "Hold on!" Raptor said as both of them fell from the tower, along with Nyxaria and Silverback. Silverback was able to recover, but the Fire Caster soldiers were wounded, the two of them cannot continue to fight, "Well done Raptor, but you need to get out of here," "We have no choice sir," He replied as picked up the sphere, helping Duncan up as he rose from the rubble. But as the two of them ran, Duncan was hit by one of Nyxaria's Sword, making him collapse, "No more running humans!" She said as she got up, Silverback ran towards her, his sword swung and the two of them battled it out, Raptor was tending to Duncan's wound. "This is fruitless fighting Nyxaria," Silverback shouted as he strikes her, she covered the wound with her hand, "Ha! a single sword strike isn't enough for me to go down." "I know that," Duncan said as he has his crossbow pointed at her once more, he pulled the trigger and the arrow flew towards her, making impact with her once more and this time, she was wounded heavily.

Nyxaria got herself up, her armor was torn apart and her swords are destroyed, "You got me this time, but trust this Silverback, I strike this at a sword; I will be back when I will find the Immortal Dagger," She said, running away as she summoned a portal to escape. "We cant let her go!" Raptor said, but Silverback grabbed his arm, stopping him, "Let her go, she will be back but we have something far more valuable than slaying the demon." "What is this artifact?" Duncan said as he limped towards them and the other fire casters rushed towards them after hearing the battle. "The last dragon."
