Vespera said as she plants down her knightly sword to the ground, "But we have to carry on lads," Hikari said, carrying a chest as she puts it down in a wagon even with her eyes blindfolded, it is as if she is guided, "We have to set course for Cassaport, King Afleck is waiting." She got in the wagon and the two of them quickly followed.
As they left the cave, not far away from the entrance, Alaric is unsure about what may happen next, "Say sisters, do you feel that immense tension in the air?" Alaric asked, he was sure he saw something in the corner of his eye but wasn't sure if it was someone or something stalking them, Hikari only shrugged, "You must be seeing things Alaric, even with my vision, none is appearing." "But it's not the fact that Imay be afraid someone is watching us," Alaric replied.

Within a second, lightning strike the trio, causing them to lose balance of the wagon, "I knew it!" Alaric said as she equips his sword and shield, "Prepare to protect it at all cost," Vespera said as she took out her knightly sword, Hikari unsheathed her katanas, their blades glowing with a blue energy, "Whoever you are show yourself!" but no one responded, they only heard footsteps, Alaric turned around to see and saw the figure, it was a elf. "An elf?" he asked, his shield raised high, absorbing power from the sun. The elf did not talked but only walked closer, "Stay away!" Hikari said, her eyes now glows blue through her blindfold, "The elementis core." The elf said in a husky voice, pointing towards the chest, "Lord Nero has tasked me to take it." "Lord Nero shall do no such thing," Vespera said, her sword was planted to the ground, absorbing power as it glows green. The elf gave no response but it's eyes changed from white to yellow, it's Scythe was buzzing with electric power, "A Lightning Elf?" Hikari said in surprise, the elf only nodded, "Now, do not make me use my power to take it from you, immortals." "Or what?" Alaric said, his eyes glew white, "Or else this will happen," the elf said as he darted towards the three of them, Alaric led the charge, letting out a force of light to try and blind the elf but it was no use, the two of them met each other eye to eye as they both clashed, "Hikari! get to the underworld! we need to get it out of here!" he shouted and Vespera joined in the fight, "We'll hold this out!" She replied, "No you wont." the elf coldly said as he repositioned itself somewhere else and casted a lightning spell on it's Scythe, charging it with lightning and releasing it's powers towards them, causing the two to dodge the attack.
Vespera's armor was grazed and she felt the air, she noticed her left shoulder armor cracked open from the single armor strike. She looked at it with confusion and surprise, "How did you-" "Like I said," The elf said, "Give, or I shall take it." he charged at her, noticing her vulnerability at that moment, Alaric tackled the lightning elf down the ground. "No one challenges the immortals!" Alaric shouted as he takes away the elf's scythe, "Until today." the elf replied, breaking free from his grasp and summoning two lightning arm blades. Alaric glared at th elf, the both of them staring at each other.
"Your a interesting fella ain't you?" Alaric said summoning more of the light powers, the lightning elf only looked at him with a blank face as he rushed with the arm blades. Alaric was ready for the blow, he used his shield as a weapon to counter the elf's left arm blade and struck him with his sword when the elf went wide and hit him in the left leg. The elf backed up a few steps as it regained it's balance and it was close enough to it's Scythe, he looked at it and lunges to grab it, rolling on the dirt and standing up, "Are you alone? who sent you here!" Vespera demanded to know, he knightly sword was pointed at the elf. The elf only shook it's head as he eyed the broken wagon, seeing that there was still a single chest left behind, with quick thinking, it threw one of it's knives and quickly teleported himself towards the wagon, only to be shot with a arrow by a figure, it was Drakon and he tracked the group down after they left, "You guys forgotten about me?" he asked as Alaric and Vespera walked in front of the chest, determine to protect it.
