The airships flew out of Cassaport in a very beautiful fashion, it was the first time such a large fleet had been seen and now, it was Afleck's turn to chase these shadows back to the darkness. And leading the pack was Squal, Silverback's dragon, an ancient in it's own right, but not as old as it's master, whom he was with for it's whole life. And now, after the massacre they experienced, many months ago, the new soldiers of the Phoenix Order has only one goal in their mind; exterminate these creatures to claim vengeance.
Among them was some of the few survivors of the original Phoenix Order, Draven, and his other commanding soldiers. These were the soldiers that stick close with Draven as they were a separate division made by Afleck, codenamed: "Fire Casters". They were sent early to scout the area for the soldiers to land the ships and prepare the army.
Draven, commanding his team with an authoritative presence, guided their flight from the lead position. His sharp gaze surveyed the terrain below as the wind howled through the open sky. His close-knit team followed closely, each member has their own skills that prove them to be worthy of their nicknames.
Liam "Blaze" O'Connor, flying slightly ahead, used his agility to dart between clouds and scan the ground with precision. His aggressive nature was the cause of his trauma seeing his parents get killed by these creatures, and he's looking for blood to spill. "Draven, I'm seeing some movement near the eastern edge," he reported through their communication link. "Looks like there's a small contingent of Shadow Warriors setting up defenses in a flat drop zone."
"I heard that Blaze," Draven responded, his voice steady and focused his wingsuit unique to the others as his gleamed a different color hue, the sleek black and gold. "Ella, what's your assessment from up here?"
Ella Blaine, flying beside Draven, was studying the terrain through her specialized binoculars. "The central structure is heavily fortified. We'll need to approach from the west to avoid direct engagement until the main force is ready to land. The ruins offer some cover, but we need to be cautious of any traps or ambushes." "Yeah but here's the problem sweetheart," Blaze interrupted, "The Eastern part of the castle is the best place we can land our men, we cant just go on the heaviest part of a castle to expect good things."
Victor "Raptor," flying just behind Ella, kept a vigilant watch over their formation. His imposing presence was a constant reassurance. "If we encounter resistance, Blaze and I will handle it. We're ready for anything."
"Understood," Draven said, turning to Ryan Thompson, who was flying alongside Duncan. Ryan was busy setting up the communication relays, ensuring that their aerial reconnaissance could relay information back to the main force. "Ryan, how's the other ships keeping up?"
"Everything's still in sight sir," Ryan replied, his focus intense as he opened another set of flares to guide the airships "We're ready to transmit coordinates and updates to the incoming airships."
Duncan, newly assigned to the team but eager to prove himself, hovered nearby, his eyes scanning the horizon. "I'll assist Ryan with coordinating the landing zones. Just give me the signal."
"Excellent," Draven said. "We're nearing the drop zones. Blaze, you and Raptor will take point in the initial sweep to clear any obstacles. Ella and Ryan, stay on high alert and provide support as needed."
With the plan in place, the Fire Casters adjusted their flight paths, each member executing their role with precision. Blaze and Raptor soared ahead, their aerial maneuvers ensuring a clear path for the landing forces. Ella and Ryan maintained a high vantage point, providing real-time updates and adjustments to the incoming airships.
As the first of the airships approached the designated drop zones, the Fire Casters' coordination was flawless. The sky was filled with the sounds of powerful engines and the distant hum of the massive ships. The arrival of the main force was imminent, and the Fire Casters remained steadfast, their vigilance ensuring that the landing would proceed without incident.
