(Hey guys, if anyone even reads this train wreck x3, sorry i haven't updated for a LONG while. had a bit of writers block and how to write what is going to happen)
A big guy with brown hair (Professor Birch, i guessed) was being chased around by a small Poochyena. The man got backed against a tree.
"Don't just stand there! Help me! Grab one of the pokeballs and fight this thing!"
I looked at the pokeballs and saw the pokemon names on them. A Treecko, Mudkip and Torchic. After taking a short moment to decide I sent out the Treecko to battle the Poochyena. The Treecko popped out of the pokeball confused for a moment before realizing the situation. It looked towards me waiting for a command and i thought of moves it would know, only being a low level Treecko.
"uh, Treecko! Use Leer!" I decided.
Treecko looked at the Poochyena taunting it in a way that lowered its defences as it faced to battle. The Poochyena then lunged towards Treecko using tackle and knockin him to the ground.
"Try Absorb to heal your self!" I commanded
Before the Poochyena could get away Treecko grabbed it by the paw and small green orbs floated from the Poochyena into Treecko. the Poochyena jumped back and howled in pain. I kinda felt bad for the poor thing. The next moment I didn't. Another Poochyena jumped out of the woods and attacked, tackling Treecko to the ground. I stepped back and tripped over the other pokeballs. My hand landed on one of them and i threw it at the Poochyenas. A Mudkip popped out and used Water Gun on the Poochyena holding Treecko down. The Poochyena flew off of Treecko and landed on its side whimpering.
"Mudkip scare them away with Growl!" I told Mudkip
Mudkip gave a small but menacing growl and the two Poochyenas ran away with their tail between their legs.
"Well done! Thanks for saving me! We should head back to my lab before they come back with a mamma Mightyena!" Prof. Birch grabs his bag and the remaining pokeball and head back to town.
I follow him back to his lab where he healed the two pokemon i used in the battles. He hands them back to me after their done healing.
"What are you-?" I question.
"They seem to have become slightly attached to you and you deserve it for fighting off not one, but two Poochyenas!" He explains.
"Oh. But I only need one and what about the Torchic?" I ask, concerned for the Torchic who might be alone until a new trainer comes to claim it.
"Oh him? Ruby will get him! It's the one he wanted anyway. Now let me see your PokeNav+."
I hand him my PokeNav and he tinkers with it, inserting a small chip.
"Here ya go! you will have the AreaNav to find your way around!"
"OK, thanks."
"If your going off to catch pokemon, you should go visit my son! He should be on Route 103, he could help you catch some pokemon and give you some useful trainer tips!" He advises
I thank him and head out the door towards the first Route. Route 101.
