I went into the Pokècenter right away to heal everyone up before visiting the gym. The gym leader was outside talking to a young trainer he had just defeated.
"Keep training and maybe you'll beat me next time." He said kindly.
The boy nodded and hurried past me to the Pokècenter. As soon as the gym leader saw me he smiled.
"Finally starting your adventure, huh Rin?" He asked looking at my Pokèmon on my shoulders.
"Yea. I got these two first and just caught this one." I say pointing to Treeko and Mudkip then at Ziggy.
"We can talk more inside. Cm'on." He walked inside the gym and I followed.
"Was that kid powerful dad?" I asked wandering how far he had gotten.
"Yea he got my Slakoth down real low. How's Mom?" The gym leader, norman(a.k.a my dad), asked.
"She's fine just sad I'm going away for awhile." I told him.
He nodded then was about to say more before the door to the gym opened and a boy with light greenish hair came in and ran up to Norman.
"Can you help me catch a Pokèmon Mr. Norman?" The boy asked with pleading Ziggzagoon eyes(puppy eyes).
Norman looked at me the back at the boy.
"What's your name kid?" He asked.
"It's Wally sir.." The boy answered shyly.
"Well Wally I'm too busy with gym things but Rin here can help you and you can barrow a Pokèmon to help!" Norman gave the boy a Pokèball with a Pokèmon in it and some unused Pokèballs.
"Thank you sir! You will help me right?" The boy beamed with happiness and looked at me.
He was so cute. I nodded and we headed out to Route 102. We walked in the grass for awhile and a Ralts popped out. I pulled out my Pokèdex while Wally sent out the borrowed Pokèmon, a sentret. I held my Pokèdex up and pointed at the Ralts. "Ralts, the Feeling Pokémon. Ralts is the pre-evolved form of Kirlia. It can use the horns on its head to read human emotions. Ralts rarely shows itself to humans, but may occasionally approach when it senses positive or happy feelings." The Ralts looked towards us with its head tilted.
"Wally weaken it the throw a Pokèball at it to catch it." Wally nodded.
"Use tackle Sentret." Wally told the borrowed Pokèmon.
The Sentret charged the Ralts and knocked it down. The Ralts got up and used charm. Sentret didn't seem affected. Wally threw a Pokèball at the Ralts and watched it catch the Ralts and rock until it was completely caught. Wally immediately grabbed the Pokèball and let the Ralts out and apologized for attacking it. The Ralts nodded and hugged Wally's leg.
We headed back to the gym and returned the Sentret after stopping at the Pokècenter. Wally thanked me for the 5th time and went back into his house and i headed on my way to the next route . Route 104.
