Alpha Sapphire /Omega Ruby story

Chapter 4

I navigated through the route, battling Poochyenas, Zigzagoons and Wurmples. They were easy to defeat with Mudkip and Treecko taking turns battling. Half way through the route i decided to keep them out and walk by my side. Almost to the end of the route i saw a scientist. He seemed to be studying the environment and Pokemon when a guy in a red suit with a huge M on the front came up to him complaining that he had waited at the exit but got impatient. The scientist ran behind me.
"Please help me kid! You look powerful enough, fight this guy off for me."
I looked at the scientist. He didn't have any Pokemon with him by the looks of it.
"This kid ain't gonna save you!" The man laughed then sent out a Poochyena.
Treecko and Mudkip looked at each other and Treecko took the battle front.
"Treecko, use leer!" I commanded.
He did as before and lured the Pokemon to lower it defenses.
"Use sand attack!" The man told his Pokemon.
Treecko tried to get away but had gotten sand in his eyes. Treeko's eyes got watery, making its vision blurry.
"Try using pound Treecko!"
Treecko ran up to the poochyena as fast as he could a pounded into him, doing massive damage due to Poochyena's lowered defense.
"Use tackle on the brats Treecko!" The man commanded.
Treecko tried to dodge but the Poochyena was quick and tackled Treeko to the ground. I smirked slightly at the opportunity given to Treecko.
"Quick! Use absorb to heal yourself and finish it off!" Treecko grabbed the Poochyena and absorbed the rest of its health, earning us a victory as the Poochyena fainted. The man returned his Poochyena and ran off mumbling about not getting what he came for. I picked up Treecko and put him on my shoulder.
"Good fight Treecko!" I patted his head.
"Mudkip!" Mudkip kipped to his buddy, congratulating him on his victory.
"Thank you young lady! If it weren't for you that guy would have stole something from me or attacked me! I came out to research my favorite Pokemon, Shroomish, who live around here."
"No problem. Why didn't you bring any Pokemon with you?"
"I don't have any. Im only a scientist not a trainer."
"Oh"
He thanks me again and returns to his research as i head to the first town, Oldale Town. I head straight to the Pokecenter after a man from the Pokemart stops me and gives me some free potions as a promotion item. I rest at the Pokecenter for awhile after healing Treecko and Mudkip. I watch them wonder around looking at the plants and different thing in the building.
