A/N:

I want to thank Kara (Kareal:)) once again for getting me going through a mini block I had. She's a GENIUS. ALSO, seriously, everyone who had the time, please look up music_lver and read his dang zombie book. It is awesome. He's such a great writer and he seriously deserves more votes and a ton of comments. It's only a few chapters in at this point but give him a boost, for real, cuz this is a story worth finishing.

A bunch of you guys are writing your own zombie books now and they are really, really good. I'm happy to see that I've inspired some of you to get your own creative juices flowing. You all are amazing and I'm ecstatic to have you guys reading my works.

So, huge thanks to Kara, READ MUSIC_LVER's BOOK and remember to vote, comment and fan if you love this entry!

P.S. ConsistentKodyHudnal, thank you too for sticking with me since the first book and leaving me some of the nicest messages.

P.P.S. Isaac, M16's okay?

Journal,

Our newfound friends left us a two way radio yesterday, along with a few M-16s. They were a bit heavy, at about 8 pounds each but with 30 rounds a mag we wouldn't have to reload as often.

We radioed Robert this morning and he helped us think up a good plan on where to go from here. He told us to keep heading east, into Louisiana and find some secluded farmland.

We could stay there for awhile, live off the land. At least until after Bre has the baby and he (she insists it's going to be a boy) is old enough to travel with us. I know there are a lot of old plantations and good farmland around Louisiana, so we're going to go check out New Orleans. It's almost 250 miles and that's a lot of walking for Bre but it's a straight shot up I-10. I think it's our best bet. Let's just hope we can make it through that long walk without Bre going into labor. She's only technically two months along but with the rate her pregnancy is going it looks like she's already five. I'm guessing she'll have this baby in the next two months but what do I know?

I woke up this morning to the sweet sounds of morning sickness. After wiping the sleep from my eyes and climbing from the plush bed I'd taken last night, I quickly dressed and crossed the hall to the bathroom where I knew Bre would still be.

"You okay?" I called softly, knocking on the door.

"Ya...ya I think that's it." Bre sounded miserable.

I pulled the door open just in time to see her spin back to the toilet for a last round of dry heaving. She stood when she finished, wiping her mouth on the back of her hand. Her face was red and her eyes watering from the multiple rounds of toilet hugging.

"Finished now?" I asked, putting an arm around her and pulling her into my side.

"It never ends." She whined.

"Just another few months, Bre. You can do this." We left the bathroom and headed down the stairs. She needed something in her stomach before we left. Hopefully I could find something she could actually hold down.

"Okay, so, I learned in a health class last year that saltine crackers can help soothe an upset pregnant tummy." I informed her. "We have some here, do you think you can try to hold a few down?"

She looked at me through still watering eyes and shook her head.

"Come on." I pleaded. "Just try a few? We need to get walking today and I'm sure you'll feel much better during the walk if you ate something."
