A/N
So, soooooo sorry for the ridiculous wait. Phone was out of commission then I was all blocked up. Couldn't think of ANYTHING to write. I'm still blocked but I'm hoping that after these four days of staring at a blank screen I might be able to squeeze something decent out. So c'mon Wattpad writing bugs, get into my head!
Oh ya, I'm staring a new book. Well, not a book really, there's not a storyline but it's a collection of the odd things that have happened in the house my family and I live in. Ghost stories I guess they'd be called. They're all going to be short entries, just a couple minutes long but it's something that'll be fun to read and write. I can't say how long it'll be or how long I'll be adding to it but I'll start posting on it today, I already have a couple things written up for it.

Journal,
Everybody seems to be back to their old selves (though a bit more cautious). Today was an exciting one. Fresh food, eggs to hatch in about two weeks and a certain two horses that seem to be growing on each other.
T.T. Style and Utopia were becoming very close. Always playing around, prancing and nipping at each other, nuzzling the others nose and neck. Hopefully within the year we'd have the sound of little hooves filling the pastures. This was just the thing to show us that life DOES go on. Even after such a great loss.
Today was my day to water and weed so I hurried down the path, gloves already on and the wagon trailing behind me. What a sight to see. It's been two months since we've planted and a few of the crops were ready for picking. After a check on the rows of veggies and melons, I ran back to the shed to grab some baskets to put the plants in.
The cucumbers, sweet corn and squash filled the wicker baskets and weighed down the wagon as I made my way back to the house after watering and pulling up any weeds I saw.
Everyone was going to be so excited to see these baskets sitting in the kitchen. They were all off doing their own thing so I placed them on the counters and walked back outside to the barn to gather up some eggs. It was going to be a feast tonight. After such a bad week, we deserved the break.
I pushed the barn doors open and walked to the hatch, flipping it up to let the chickens into the warm morning air of the coop beyond. They all filed out, rooster in front and his ladies in a line behind. The outside coop was a great help when gathering eggs. Since they were all outside, they wouldn't be here to peck at my hands as I stole their unborn. It was a large amount today. Not counting the fertilized eggs, there were at least three in each nest. Over a dozen, it was one of the biggest gatherings we'd had yet. Being outside for most of the day and being well feed must have produced some happy hens.
I bumped into Bre on the way out. She was coming into the barn, Ollie on her hip, a smile on her face.
"I saw the baskets in the kitchen." She said excitedly. "I took a cucumber for Ollie to play with." Sure enough, he was happily swinging the cucumber through the air then bringing it into his mouth. Little gnaw marks were around the top and along one side of the vegetable.
"Vegetable teething?" I asked.
"Healthier than the beef jerky Mom used to give me to gum on." She laughed. "And she wondered why I was such a fat baby. Anyway, I was just on my way to show Ollie the eggs but I see you've already gotten them."
"Sorry, just trying to save everybody a little work." I reached into the basket and pulled out one of the filthy eggs, cleaning it off on my already dirty shirt. I handed it to Oliver and he stared at it, eyes wide. "Egg." I told him.
"E...eh..." He tried to force out. "Ekk."
"Close enough." I ruffled his downy blonde locks.
"How do you get him to do that?" Bre huffed. "He wont try any new words for me."
