After a few hours Robbie and Purah both agreed that I should go and look at the Divine Beasts And chose where the MRC should go. Purah gave me my own sheikah slate. She told me that I should take a picture of the locations I think are best. The more pictures the better. While I was out, they would be designing the models. I headed out of the lab and mounted Anubis. I decided to go to the Gordon Volcano. As I hated the heat it was best to get this one out of the way first then circle around. I was about six hours into my trip when I stopped Anubis. I had pulled on his reins to stop because a bright light hit me straight in the face. What was weird was it was coming from down near the ground.

There off to the left was a small cave. Through the entrance a small light was flickering. I dismounted Anubis and walked over after tying him to a tree branch. The entrance was smaller than I thought once I got closer. I figured I could squeeze my way inside. I got onto my stomach and army crawled my way inside. I got mostly inside before my hips got stuck a bit. I refused to be a trope and yanked myself forward. With a crumble I slide forward. Brushing my dress off I looked around the cavern. Though the entrance was small the area behind it was not. Pillars of what appeared to be marble littered the place. Some were still standing but most had toppled over. In the center of the room there stood a lone pedestal that seemed to be made of obsidian. Pocking out of the top was the handle of a sword almost the same color. At first, I thought that it was just a carving but once I got closer, I saw the sword was a different shade than the pedestal.

On the lower half of the pedestal there was a faded tablet. It was written in a language I was not familiar with. Using my new sheikah slate I snapped a picture of the tablet to examine later. Finally looking up at the sword I sighed sadly. Time had not been kind to it. I gripped the handle and carefully pulled it from the pedestal. Once out I looked the blade over. Time really was not kind to this blade. From its appearance it looked to be a rapier. The gems on the handle shattered into speckles of dust when my hand brushed against them. I remembered them being red in color, so I guessed they were rubies. Writing that down in one of my journals I carefully placed the blade into my bag. Hopefully, I can find both the material and the craftsman to repair it. When I held it, a strange warmth was emanating from it. It was strange because the cave was cold, yet the blade was warm. Once outside I continued to the Gordon Volcano. Three days later I arrived at the stables just outside the Volcano's range. Leaving Anubis in their care, I bought a few Heat resistance potions to protect myself from the sweltering heat. I took one and started my trek up. Taking care of a few lava lizards to make more potions, I arrived at the Gordon Village.

I thought I'd have to find the champion first then get to the Divine Beast but as I entered the village, I heard Vah Rudania's cry. Looking up I saw the metal beast crawling over the mouth of the volcano towards the village. Making my way deeper into the village. The lizard-like Divine Beast came to rest at the bridge located at the back of the village. As I neared, I heard a rich males voice, ruffed by age speaking. "Guess I still need to practice with old Rudania. Never had her move on her own like that." Soon a male Gordon came into view hopping out of the Divine Beast's middle. He walked around the left front leg scratching his head.

Finally, he turned towards the village and spotted me. With a large friendly grin, he waved while approaching me. "Hey there Little One, what brings you here to our village?" Smiling, I answered softly while looking up. He was over seven feet tall at least. While I was six foot as a human, he still towered over me. I knew if I were my original height of 5' 6", he would be a giant.

"I came to look at Vah Rudania, I think she knew I was coming. I saw her coming just as entered the village." He turned his head looking up at the resting Divine Beast.

"Is that why...?" He muttered before shaking his head. Holding a large hand out to me he said with a hearty laugh. "Well in that case, welcome aboard sheikah friend. Seems old Vah Rudania wanted to be the first to greet ya" he then helped me onto Vah Rudania and almost immediately after my feet met the ancient metal it started moving back onto the volcano. While Daruk was giving me a tour I was looking around for a good spot for the MRC. I found a room hidden within the head and took a picture from multiple angles. Once done I asked if the Gordon had a messenger bird I could use. Daruk nodded and brought me to where a Rito was relaxing in the hot springs. When asked Pearl as she was named agreed to take the slate to the sheikah labs. I thanked her and stayed with Daruk while I waited for her return. She said it'd take her about three days to get there and three days to get back. So, while I was waiting for the week trip, Daruk and I spent time together. He quickly became like a loving uncle to me. I asked him about the Goron culture as the game never really touched on the cultures of the other races. He was happy to comply.

I asked about getting the rapier but no one in the village had that kind of craftsmanship. But they did have the materials needed to repair it. I joined in on some mining expeditions to get the ore. I also collected all the gems I found along the way. Daruk's son and daughter-in-law came with me. We quickly bonded and after gifting her a small hammer she got the news she was pregnant. She practically demanded I name their child as I had predicted the baby's arrival. Laughing I suggested the name Yunobo. They smiled loving the name. They both agreed I was to be their child's godmother. Once Pearl arrived, I made my way to the Rito snowy Mountains. Waving goodbye, I made my way down to the stables. Daruk came with me hugging me tight. "If ya ever need a place to call home yar always welcome here." He said already missing my company.
