Anirudh
I swipe through the pictures Dhairya sent me, grinning throughout. She was on a trek with her parents when that cheeky little thing clicked so many pictures of everything around her. Her pictures hold precision and power. She has managed to capture the raw emotions of the forest. Every picture of hers says something. I wonder how this woman is so magical?
Me: These pictures are so beautiful and so is the photographer 😉
Me: I wonder if the photographer is interested in clicking this poor soul's pictures as well. She instantly reads the messages, provided that it's only five in the morning. She has been online at this time, probably because she doesn't want her parents to know about me yet. I respect her choice but one day we will have to face her parents, right?
Dhairya🌸: Aww!!
Me: What aww? You have such wonderful photography skills and you never told me about it? I am wounded Dhairya😔
Dhairya🌸: Haha you never asked! Waise, you didn't tell me about your hobbies as well!
Me: My hobbies? Honestly, I never had one.
Dhairya🌸: THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! You must have something which you enjoy doing.
I hum, one thing that I enjoy doing? I don't know. After Dev left for college, I never paid attention to such things. I focused on my studies, studying hard to crack the engineering exam because that's what Dev wanted me to do. He wanted me to live a civilian life for God knows what reason. He always pushed me to study hard and he didn't even let me prepare for NDA when I knew I had the calibre to crack it in a single attempt.
Me: I don't know. There are a lot of things I like. For example, talking to you😉
I chuckle as I see the three dots forming on the screen. I have learnt to flirt a bit, all thanks to Google baba. It has given me tips worth a lifetime and I am sure Dhairya would be pleased by my efforts.
Dhairya🌸: Flirting are we Mr. Roy?
Ani: Maybe yes
Dhairya🌸: I see my unromantic man is trying to be romantic, not bad Mr. Roy🤓
Me: Not bad? That's it? You wound me Dhairya😔
Dhairya🌸: What else should I say? You are impossible Ani *shakes head*
I chuckle reading her message. What would I even do without her? She has made my life a wonder, she is such a vibrant soul.
Me: okay fine. By the way, when are you coming back to Delhi?
Dhairya🌸: Umm tomorrow, my parents are not happy. But my boss isn't too pleased as well. You know we are working on a new project and I am on the team. He was not happy when I went asking for a one week holiday.
