Break Time

Thomas ran over to the Table Of Red-Rock, the table was long and was found in the school grounds before the school was built, Thomas’s 2nd  Great-Grandfather John Claydon was called as the table had the Claydon name on it and the crest of the family. The table was made from stone and wood with the chairs matching and it was called the Table Of Red-Rock as it had the Red-Rock crest on it as well as the Claydon one.
Thomas sat down at the head and waited for his friends to arrive, the first to turn up was Jason Hay also known as Green-Bonnie. Jason was Thomas’s second in command, and was Thomas’s best friend forever. Jason had come over with Amelia Torn a lovely girl with a sweet personality until she gets angry Thomas learnt that the hard way. They sat done ether side of Thomas.
“What’s new TT?” asked Jason
“Not much” Thomas Replied

That’s when a girl called Chloe Wedson a sweet, cute, passionate girl and a boy called Colin Smite a coolish, computer wiz boy ran over they were known as Chlochlo and Cool Smithy, Behind them were William Port, an amazing drawer and artist, and Jade Wash, a kind, animal loving girl they were known as EpicEnderG and Venus.
Next to arrive was Lucky Whitehan a luck loving, excellent with a bow boy, Indigo Jan a geek loving role-playing girl, Berty Smith an afro headed boy and finely Violet Claydon, Thomas’s cousin and an adventure filled girl of many talents.

Soon as everyone took their seats Lia ran over with Jack and Kasmin, they took their seats just before Thomas stood up, behind Thomas was Lily she was looking scared as she was asked by Thomas to meet here.
“Today Red-Rockers we greet a new member” said Thomas
At that exact moment Allan walked over with his friends, Ashby Posh-Ham, Damo Reeves, Samuel Hancock, Samantha Hancock and Zack Budson, so did Bekki and Natassha along with Maddison Janes, Luka Robs, Candace Sine and Stephanie White.
“Sorry we are late Tom” said Allan
“It’s alright” Thomas said as they sat down in their seats “As I was saying, today we greet a new member into the Red-Rock ranks” Thomas paused then said “Please welcome Lily into our friend group.”

Everyone clapped as Lily sat down in the last seat available, just before Thomas could speak a bird slammed into the table in front of Thomas.
“Peter” exclaimed Thomas.
The bird that had slammed into the table was none other than Thomas’s pet parrot, Peter. Thomas noticed a note on Peter’s foot, Thomas was confused, Thomas grabbed the note and read it in his head.
The note said
Look out, Look out
Someone close to you,
Is in grave danger,
Beware of the letter L

The note was written in blue ink Thomas only know one person who wrote in blue, and that was his dad which confused Thomas even more as his dad was missing, he didn’t know what to expect form that point but tried to ignore the note.

Suddenly the bell of the school rang out signalling end of break time. Thomas ran over with the other six year old’s to line up for class, their next class was topic. Once they where in class Thomas got out his book and continued to read it.
The more Thomas read the more his mind was blown. His 3rd Great-Grandfather Tibines Sebastian Claydon was the founder of the circus and he too had a sword made of Red-Rock. Tibines’s dad Thomas’s 4th Great-Grandfather was called Taberham Johncan Claydon, who was a tailor and made suits for very rich families even though he was rich himself but he did it by hand and had no helpers.
Thomas also learnt that his dad was not just called Swordmaster, he was one as he too had a sword made from Red-Rock.

As Thomas was reading Mrs Lovedove came over to Thomas’s table and asked,
“What are you reading Tom, I’ve never seen you this quite before?”
“I’m reading a book on my family’s history, it’s quite interesting” replied Thomas with a smile on his face.
Mrs Lovedove looked confused but smiled at Thomas and said,
“Well I like it when your happy, so you can continue” whilst walking over to Jason’s table to see what they were up to.

Lily who was sat next to Thomas heard what was said and turned to face Thomas and asked,
“What is your family like Thomas?”
Thomas looked at Lily and felt a weird feeling inside his stomach as though it was butterflies, Lily looked as though she was feeling the same thing, Thomas had to bare it so he put his book and the family tree in between him and Lily and said,
“This is my family tree and the book it came from.”
Lily looked at the book and then at Thomas and said,
“Lets read it together.”
Therefore the two children read the book together and found out a lot about the Claydon family.

Suddenly the lunch bell rang out and made Thomas and Lily jump.
“Right class it’s lunch time, have fun and this afternoon we will do some art” said Mrs Lovedove.
“Yes Mrs Lovedove” said the whole class.
Thomas grabbed Lily’s hand making her blush and they headed off to the lunch hall to eat lunch.
When they got there they lined up to get their lunch, Thomas got some mac-an-cheese and a cheesecake for dessert, Lily got the same, they then went and sat with the rest of the class at the table.

Thomas was really hungry he forgot to have his snack that his mum packed for him. As they ate, there was a sudden loud noise, a small explosion and a big cloud of smoke filled the food hall, everyone was screaming. Thomas felt Lily’s hand in his, she was shaking, Thomas looked around the room for some reason he could see fine but he did see that everyone else couldn’t, as they where walking into walls and tables and tripping over chairs.
Thomas looked for a way out but saw a Leprechaun running out of the door.

Thomas ran after it, but when he got to the door it was gone, that’s when Thomas remembered the note, Beware of the letter L, could this be what the note meant?
When Thomas turned round the smoke was gone this was a little confusing, and Thomas knew he had to come to the bottom of it.
