Jimin had no idea what kind of problem was waiting for him back in the Bureau.

Right now, he was entirely focused on finding Jackson's house. And it was not until he stood in front of the door that he recalled the fact that Jungkook had been staying here for the past seven years as well...

No, he should not get distracted at a time like this! Shaking his head, he took a step forward and just as he was going to press the doorbell, the neighboring house's door swung open and a woman in sportswear walked out while chiding the small poodle in her arms.

"You foolish dog, you can't chew on my shoes again, okay?! It's not like I haven't-" she caught sight of Jimin standing next door and promptly choked on her words.

No way... again?! It was just last night that she caught her thug-ish and crimson-haired neighbor being in a provocative position with another man, and today... there was another one?! She had never realized that her neighbor's love life was so exciting. And damn it, this one was also a very attractive one! Had all the handsome men in this world become gays nowadays?!

Jimin: ??

He keenly sensed that something was off with the way she looked at him, yet he just couldn't put his finger to it. Out of politeness, he gave a brief nod and greeted her, "Good evening."

"E-Evening..." the woman choked out, her eyes darting wildly all over the place. The poodle in her arms let out a small bark as if echoing her. "Are you... Are you here for him too?"

"'Too'?" Jimin accurately caught on to the crux of her sentence, his eyes gleaming with a sharp light. "Who's been here previously?"

'Aaaah! It's over, it's over...!' the woman cried out inwardly and hugged her poodle tighter to herself as a shield. 'I have exposed my neighbor's promiscuous lifestyle. What should I do... I really didn't do it on purpose! Who told you to step on two boots at the same time?!'

Just like that, Jackson's upright and honest reputation among the neighborhood was further destroyed by this ridiculous misunderstanding. It was beyond recovery.

The woman did not want to get dragged further into this messy matter. She hemmed and hawed, then blurted out, "I-I don't know... I didn't see anything! Goodbye!" Afraid that Jimin was going to ask her more questions, she swiftly turned around and ran away as if her life depended on it.

"Wait..." The woman ran so fast that Jimin could not hold her back. He could actually give chase, but she had looked so terrified that it would only become pointless. Not to mention, it would look quite inappropriate for a man - though he was an omega - to run after a woman when it was still daylight...

But what did she say just now? He was not the first person who had come here to find Jackson? Who was it? Jungkook and Yoongi were still in the hospital so they could be crossed out from the list. Was it another acquaintance of the crimson-haired doctor or...

Frowning, Jimin did not hesitate any longer to press on the doorbell. He waited for five full seconds and when he saw that no one had answered it, he pressed it again two more times. Jimin pursed his lips tight and the color of his eyes gradually darkened.

He reached out to his waist and confirmed that his baton was strapped in place beneath his bomber jacket. Then he took a few steps backward, inhaled deeply and counted to three.

Alas, just before he could break down the gate and barge in by force, the intercom buzzed and a raspy voice drifted out, thick with a nasal tone, "... What are you doing here?"

It was Jackson's voice for sure.

A sliver of relief wormed into Jimin's heart. He slowly put down his leg and came closer to the intercom again. "You didn't answer the phone all day. Are you that sick? Come out, I will bring you to the hospital."
