It's been some time since I updated but here I am ready with another update, i actually had a writers block💀

another thing, i'm not really familiar with shot wounds and the healing process but i'll try to make it realistic as possible

ANNDDDD I didn't think this story trough so things COULD get confusing and not make sense because I wrote something, and then something happens that doesn't make sense with the something I wrote, if you get what I mean

If that happens please, PUH LEASE tell me cause that's embarrassing for ME😭🙏

btw I write some things just for the dramatic effect, like Ran pulling the bullet out of [Name]s wound.

and just to clear something up, [Name] felt guilty about Fuyuko, because they knew eachother. [Name] can shoot random people without feeling guilty but if she knows them before that, she'd feel guilty.

I'm ass at explaining

Five weeks went by in a blur. During that time, Mikey wasn't home much. If he was getting any sleep, it was probably in his office. When he did come home, he was only there briefly to eat or shower. We barely talked, just the occasional "How's the wound?" or "How are you feeling?" Nothing more than that. It made me realize again how far apart we've drifted, how much he's changed, and just how foolish I am. He left me, so why am I still here?
Am I really so hopeless that I keep chasing after a man blinded by my own stupidity?

The maids have been taking care of me and my cat, Paddy. They've handled most of the things I couldn't manage myself.

The maids have been really nice and welcoming, thankfully. At least I'm not alone in this big ass mansion.

Seriously, when did Mikey get this rich?

Anyway, I'm using a cane now. Makes me feel a bit like Franklin Saint. (Iykyk)

Just kidding.

I'm actually able to work again, but I could easily call in sick if I wanted to. All I have to do is call HR and say, "I'm not coming today," and they're just like, "Okay." I'm pretty sure Mikey gave them the go-ahead for me to keep it that simple. It's a completely different story for the other subordinates, though, they're required to give details. They have to explain why they won't be there, estimate when they'll be back, and provide a signed doctor's note confirming their illness or any other reason for their absence.

Kokonoi and Kakucho were the ones who actually helped me find an apartment. Kokonoi took the time to check prices, assess the location, and evaluate my bank account to ensure I had enough money to cover the bills. He even arranged an appointment with the real estate agent and sent Kakucho along with me, as he somehow had no assignments that day.

When we went to view the apartment, I knew that even if it didn't meet my preferences, I would still likely get it. The executives, particularly Kokonoi, didn't really concern themselves with the opinions of assistants or other subordinates. They made decisions based on what they thought was best without much input from us.

Kakucho had taken it a step further by scouting the location in person. He also sent a few other subordinates to check it out, primarily to assess any potential dangers. By "potential dangers," I mean anything related to the law.
