Stacy's POV

I tried to bury myself into work for the next couple of days so I wouldn't have to think about Garrick and his bitch.

Sometimes I laugh to myself because I got stuck and pregnant with this man's child while he was out living his life.

Tessa showed up at my office to help with each floor plan since I didn't understand much and I couldn't walk all the rooms right now.

"Ok, so I see where the suites are but I don't know how I would book those," I said to her.

"What I could do is send you a mockup of the prices I used when I was starting out and you can work from there with your prices of course until you decided to get an admin."

"Okay, that sounds good. However, I still don't know how to add the amenities to the website. Could you help with that?"

"Sure, just email me the prices after and I will make all the adjustments for you and send you step by step in details."

I know I should hire someone but I wanted to do it on my own right now so I had some knowledge of the website. I want my hands to be in everything.

"I swear I don't know what I would have done without you right now. Thanks Tesa."

"It's no big deal Stacy. Like I told you before, I am here to always help."

She stayed with me for a while and showed me how to maneuver the website, how to take bookings and how to manage all the cameras and gates from my phone. I knew I wouldn't learn it all in one day but for now it helps to keep me out of trouble.

"See, just keep practicing and in no time this will be like a walk in the park," she said.

"Again, thanks for taking the time to help me."

"No problem. I have to run now, my daughter is having a dance recital and I promise her that I will be there."

"That's cool. I understand."

She left my office and I kept playing with the website until I got a better understanding of how some features worked. There was so much to do before my grand opening but I was alone and had to take it slowly for myself and the baby.

Chalkline's POV

"I see you have trouble on your hands," Mystro said. I glanced at Kira happily sitting around the table, waiting for me to come sit beside her.

"Claim she had business in town and she heard I was here."

"Sounds like a stalker to me."

"I need to get rid of her cause shit aguh reach back to Stacy cah Jade can't keep her mouth."

"Mi done warn her already."

He can say all that, from the way Jade was looking at Kira, I knew his warnings went through one ear and out the next one.

"Come we guh eat some food." I gave the bartender my glass then followed Mystro to the table to sit with the others.

"Babe, you want us to take our food back to your suite and we could just chill?" Kira whispered to me.

"I can't, I have to hang out with my team so the investors can see that we are a close family."

"Believe me, I have been to plenty of these with my parents and I can tell you, they know your family has money. You don't need to impress them, they will accept any offer you give them."
