Taufan stared at the door in front of him.

He sobbed softly, holding onto the baby tight in his arms.
The 17 year old felt warmth at his cheeks, tears spilled.

He was like a tall child.

He thought his brothers loved him, he really did.
He was assaulted, his assaulter dropped the baby onto him, making him responsible for something he couldn't even control.

At that moment, Taufan hated everything, even himself.

But he couldn't have the heart to hate his child.
One that didn't choose to be born.

Taufan could only stand, he tightly held onto his child that hid behind him.

All he wanted was to go grocery shopping, but with his son calling him "ayah" and Taufan's noticeable youth.

Seeing her taken away by the police, Taufan can't help but feel satisfaction.

Maybe, just maybe, the world isn't so bad after all.

He had cooked a simple yet delicious meal of chicken curry and eggs on the side.

"Ayah, aren't you going to eat?" Sopan looks at his father, Taufan smiles, nodding his head.
