The Two Brothers and Me

Chapter 3

Jin woke up because of the loud knock on his door. He stretches his arms and legs before opening the door of his room.

"Who is it?" He asked but was surprised to see Jungkook outside bringing a tray of food.

"Good morning, Seokjin. I made breakfast for you." He said.

Jin covered his face when Jungkook entered his room.

"Why are you covering your face?" Jungkook asked.

"I did not brush my teeth yet, nor wash my face." He said.

Jungkook smiled as he walked to him and removed the hand on his face. "You still look handsome." He said.

Jin blushed by what Jungkook said and was stunned before realizing that he should go to the bathroom and wash his face.

"Excuse me." He said then immediately went to his bathroom and washed his face.

"He's cuter when he just woke up. His cheeks are puffy." Jungkook said to himself.

Jin looked at himself in the mirror. "God! I look awful." He said. "How can he look so handsome early in the morning? Is that how models are?" He said, then washed his face and brushed his teeth.

When he went outside, he saw Jungkook sitting on a couch near his bed, while checking on his own phone.

"You're ready for breakfast?" Jungkook asked.

"You did not need to bring it to me. I can get breakfast myself." Jin said.

"I woke up early to surprise you." Jungkook said.

Jin just nodded as he took some fruits from the tray that Jungkook brought. "Why are you here? I thought you will just be moving back here today?" Jin asked.

"Yeah. I moved back early this morning and made you breakfast." Jungkook said proudly.

Jin was confused why Jungkook is too kind to him.

"Why are you so kind and caring?" He asked.

Instead of answering, Jungkook walked to Jin and smiled. "The answer is simple." He said, then left a kiss on Jin's forehead.

Before Jin can even react, Jungkook was already at the door.

"I will see you at lunch." He said before closing Jin's door.

"Wait. What just happened?" Jin askef himself. "He did not answer my question." He said then looked at the tray of food prepared by Jungkook. He smiled upon seeing the smiley pancake, too.

"You are early." Taehyung said upon seeing Jungkook in the kitchen helping Yuna in cooking lunch.

"You've arrived, hyung." Jungkook said with a smile.

"Taehyung, you have arrived." Yuna said with a smile. "Go settle in your room and get change. The lunch will be ready in an hour."

Taehyung nodded. "Thanks, Yuna."

When Taehyung was about to enter his room, he realized that Jin's room is just on the next door. He decided to visit him and knock on his door.

"Coming." Jin said from the inside.

When Jin opened the door, Taehyung smiled at him.

"W-what are you doing here, hyung?" Jin asked.

"I just wanted to say 'hi' to you since I just arrived. I would be joining you for lunch, too. I am just saying so that you won't be surprised." He said kindly and politely, very different to the surprising action of Jungkook early this morning.
