Chapter 6

Jin was restless in his room as he waited for Jungkook to knock for dinner. However, it's already past dinner time and he's still not knocking.

When he heard a knock on his door, he hurriedly opened it without checking or asking first who it was. His expectation was dropped in the ocean when he saw who it was.

Taehyung, showed his boxy smile when Jin excitedly opened the door, thinking that Jin was expecting for him.

"Oh. Taehyung."

"Let's go have some dinner. Yuna and Dad are already here." He said with a smile that is not leaving his face.

Jin smiled back, even though in his mind, he wanted to ask about Jungkook. "I will be there in a minute."

"I will wait for you." Taehyung said.

Jin did not know why, he usually likes spending time with Taehyung but right now, he hoped that the man will just leave him alone.

Jin kept his door open to not disappoint Taehyung. He closed his laptop and took his phone from the bed, put it in his pocket, then followed Taehyung outside.

"I'm sorry that my call got longer than usual. I know I promised that game with you. I will prepare my console after dinner if you are still up for the game." Taehyung said.

Jin smiled at Taehyung. "It's okay. We can do it tomorrow. I have to submit a project to one of my projects tomorrow." He said with a lie because he is no longer in the mood to play games with Taehyung.

"Ah, I see. Do you need help? I can help you." Taehyung said.

"I think I should be good. I am almost done with it." Jin said with a smile. Again, another lie.

Taehyung just nodded at him, as if he knows that Jin is lying so Jin bit his lip.

When they have arrived at the dining, Yuna and Jaehyun are already seated but Jin noticed immediately that Jungkook is not around. He was looking around before he sat down and Yuna noticed it, however, she preferred not to say anything much.

"Let's have our dinner now." Yuna said.

Instead of taking food, Jin looked around again and furrowed his brows when no one talked about Jungkook. He decided to start taking some food but he is still not liking the feeling of not having Jungkook around. It's very unusual and he's getting worried for the man. He did not eat much of the food and almost did not eat what he took.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked observing that he did not eat much.

Jin looked at him and nodded. He stood up and excused himself when he was still not feeling good about it.

"I'm sorry, I am feeling unwell. I will just go back to my room." He said then bowed.

Yuna looked at him. "Go ahead, son. I will take you some medicine later. What are you feeling?"

"I think I just need to rest." Jin said.

Taehyung looked at him and observed his actions.

Yuna nodded at his son and Jin made his way back to his room.

Instead of going directly to his room, Jin went to Jungkook's room and he was surprised to see it very dark and quiet. It means that Jungkook's not around. Jin furrowed his brows more before going back to his room.

Jin decided to study for the night for all the lessons that he missed instead of thinking about Jungkook. He called Jimin and asked for the rest of his notes as he was told that he will have all the exams he missed when he comes back. He looked at the notes sent by Jimin and took his tablet to start creating his own notes.
