Chapter 4

Jin was not surprised anymore the next day when Jungkook brought him breakfast, and this time, he is more prepared because he already washed his face and brushed his teeth.

When he opened the door, Jungkook showed his usual bunny smile.

"Good morning--- Oh! You woke up earlier today?" Jungkook asked upon seeing him not wearing his pajamas anymore.

"Good morning, too." He said with emotionless face but looked instantly at the food brought by Jungkook. "I can take breakfast downstairs. There's no need for you to bring it here everyday." Jin said.

"I like seeing your face early in the morning. You look cuter when you just woke up. I will put your breakfast here." Jungkook said, putting the tray in the side table.

Jin just stared at him.

"I will help Yuna in preparing lunch, do you like anything in particular?"

"You treat me like a kid." Jin said instead of answering Jungkook's question.

"I like treating you special, not a kid." Jungkook said which made Jin blush, so he looked away.

Jin then heard his laptop with message, so he took it and responded from there.

"Boys your age usually uses phones for messaging. You use your laptop for messaging?" Jungkook asked because he never saw Jin use any phone eversince they have met.

"I---I d-don't have a phone." Jin said shyly as he put his laptop away after responding to Jimin's message about their school notes.

"Oh." Jungkook said, feeling disappointed that Jin looked ashamed because of that. "You never used one or you recently lost your phone?"

"I---it was d-damaged d-during the party." Jin said.

Jungkook realized what party he is referring to because Yuna and Jaehyun already told them what happened.

"I see." Jungkook said. "Don't be sad about it. Eat your breakfast now and come down for lunch, okay? Tell me if you want anything for lunch and dinner and I'll try to make the dish for you since I will be doing the groceries now with Yuna. We should be back after 2 hours." Jungkook said.

Jin was not able to say more since Jungkook already left.

After enjoying his breakfast alone, Jin decided to go downstairs and put the tray and plates back in the kitchen rather than waiting for the maids to do it. He saw Taehyung having his breakfast alone at the dining table.

"Jin, did you have your breakfast already?" He asked with his usual boxy smile.

"Y-yes. I did." He said and walked past him to put the dishes in the sink.

Taehyung finished his breakfast quickly and followed Jin.

"By the way, Jin, would you like to go to the mall? It's getting boring in here. I think it will be fun to walk outside for a while." Taehyung asked.

"I d-don't have anything to do at the mall." Jin said.

"Let's buy you a phone." Taehyung said.

Jin's eyes widened.

"I noticed that you don't have a phone since you never carried one eversince we have met." Taehyung said.
