Mingi was particularly jumping as he walked down the streets, holding hands with the boy he love, Hongjoong. His excitement was obvious and it made the older laugh. Has Mingi always been this happy? Hongjoong wondered because..."It's cute."

"I've...never seen you like this." Hongjoong admitted. The older's voice was soft, just what Mingi looked forward to hear everyday. "I'm excited. Our first date." The younger replied.

They turned a corner and there it was, a moderate size restaurant in between a few larger buildings. It wasn't really anything special for the exterior, a LED light of the restaurant's name and a bright orange dragon on the other side. There wasn't those modern doors, instead it was the traditional door curtains.

The designs were simple but inviting. "Flames Dragon." Hongjoong said, reading the banger of the restaurant. "Looks pretty nice, let's go in" Mingi added, walking into the restaurant with Hongjoong beside him.

The interior wasn't what both male expected. It was cozy, the sound of people's conversation was soft, the sound of dishes clinking and what Hongjoong liked is the calming piano music playing in the background.

They found a small table, specifically fitted for 2 people. As they sat down, Hongjoong picked up the menu and started reading the dish names out loud as if he's been here for a thousand times. Mingi on the other hand, just stared at the menu, clueless.

Hongjoong noticed and laughed. "Mingi, it's okay, I don't know much about Chinese food too soo... Let's just get the popular ones." Hongjoong admitted, smiling when Mingi laughed sheepishly and nodded.

When the waiter came, Hongjoong started placing orders while Mingi leaned back in his chair, watching. The way Hongjoong talked to the waiter with ease. He's never seen Hongjoong like this but he's happy that he also enjoy little things.

After a few minutes of waiting, the food arrived, the aroma of the food invigorating. Both Mingi and Hongjoong had ordered a few appetizers, pork belly, har gao, sesame chicken and Hongjoong even added a few dessert pork buns that are decorated with little faces that he found cute.

After eating, they paid and decided to walk for a while since they were stuffed! "We should do this more you know?" Hongjoong said, walking closer to Mingi.

"Yeah. I'm happy you agreed to come out" Mingi mumbled, finding Hongjoong's hand brushing against his and in a blink of an eye, their hands were intertwined. Mingi looked to his side to see that Hongjoong was blushing.

Cute...-
That was all Mingi could think of.

Soon enough, nightfall claimed its spot in the sky, stars twinkling. Both males were walking back to the dorm, still holding hands. "I want to buy snacks." Mingi mumbled, feeling embarrassed.

"I don't mind, let's go then" Hongjoong reassured, smiling at Mingi as they walked down the alley way as a shortcut.

As they rounded a corner, Hongjoong couldn't help but go silent, his laughter trailed off. Something in the air felt... Weird.

A subtle prickle right at the back of his neck, like something is following them. He turned his head slightly, scanning the narrow street but he saw nothing. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Mingi finally noticed the awkward silence. "Hyung, you good?"

Hongjoong shook his head, trying to shake off the uneasy feeling. "Yeah. Just... thought I saw something.
