During the New York World Karate Tournament, the boy began to keep attacking the orange haired girl Max keeps deflecting his attacks before she counters him with a kick to the stomach, winning the final match.

Ref: Point, Winner! Price!

The referee raises Max's arm up as she won the tournament for her dojo: the Mongoose Horns Karate as her friends Nikki Ramos, Robert Lee and the others run over to her as the announcer yells.

Announcer: Your new world champion, Maxine Price!

He gives Max a trophy as she yells in cheer same as the crowd.

Max: Yeah!

Hours later, afterwards, during that fraternity party, every teenager celebrating the victory of Max's championship in the world tournament as they keep drinking underage drinks inside the house of Zoe Johansson (played by Malia Pyles). Max enters through inside with her arm linked to her boyfriend George Potter (played by Malachi Barton) as everyone cheers at Max.

Teenager 1: Here she is! The champion of the New York Tournament herself! Woo!

Teenager 2: Congratulations, Max!

Teenager 3: You're a hero!

As everyone congratulates Max, she sits on the couch as George asks her.

George: Hey, is everything okay?

Max: Yeah, I'm gonna need a cup of water, not some wine.

George: Okay, okay, I'll get you a cup of water and some fruits.

Max nodded her head as she watches her boyfriend went to the kitchen. Later Zoe approaches Max and squeals at her as she hug her in appreciation.

Zoe: Well done, Maximus! You won the championship against that weird guy from Asia, eh?

Max: Yeah yeah. I know what you mean.

Zoe: Anyways, why don't you take a sip of a beer bottle?

Max refuses.

Max: No thanks, I'm not in the mood for drinking.

Zoe: Okay, suit yourself.

Zoe leaves Max alone as she puts her hand on her forehead as she keeps groaning a bit as she hears some voices from the past like her mother Claire, her boyfriend George and others.

Claire: (voiceover) I'll be back in two days after working abroad in Istanbul, okay?

Young Max: (voiceover) What about me and Dad?

Claire: (voiceover) Don't worry about me. I promise, I will be back in one piece.

George: (voiceover) Hell, Max, you're shaking. Tell me what's wrong?

Max: (voiceover) I can't tell you, George! I was overthinking!

George: (voiceover) Then don't lose hope, Max.

Nikki: (voiceover) You're a champion, Maxine. Sometimes it's for the greater good.

Robert: (voiceover) You're the best of the best, Max. We all believe in you.

Max sighs in relief as she takes a deep breath after hearing some weird voices in her mind.

Nikki: Max, Max, Max, we got a problem...

Nikki runs towards her and kneels on her.

Max: What's wrong, Nikki?

Nikki: Your best friend Zoe, she cheated on you.
