Charlie's eyes squinted open, protecting himself from the blinding lights. (OOHHH I'M BLINDED BY THE LIGHTS)

The first thing he noticed was that someone was hunched over him. The second thing was that he was in excruciating pain. Everything hurt, and he didn't know why.

Charlie bit the inside of his lip to keep a sound from coming out, but a gargled whimper managed to escape from his throat.

His legs felt like they had been put into a shredder, his stomach felt like Ranboo had ripped him open again, even his face felt scarred and ripped.

And underneath it all, was the steady feeling of something being poked into his skin, then pulled, then tugged a bit to tighten, before repeating. Was he being sewn?

No, stitched. That made more sense.

The last thing that happened to him before he woke up was hard to recall, there were flashes but nothing solid. But he didn't know why he was trying to figure that out when everything hurt so badly.

"S- stop, please," he whispered, "why does it hurt so much?"

The figure didn't say anything, only continuing the rhythmic pull of thread.

"Wh- where's Ranboo?" Charlie begged, tears starting to streak down his cheeks, tracking in the blood and stinging as they fell into small wounds. "Are they ok?"

The figure didn't say anything.

Charlie closed his eyes with a pained whimper, desperately needing air, but didn't want to expand his lungs too much in fear that doing so would rip his wounds open even more.

Ranboo. Charlie fought for his last memory of them, pushing past the nauseating pain in a frantic attempt to hold on to his thoughts.

There. Something finally stuck. A shape, a person, their head trapped in a bleeding box.

"Are they dead?" He pleaded, his voice breaking. "Why am I still alive??"

The figure snipped the thread and walked away, leaving Charlie alone on a cold, metal table, gasping for air but too scared to find it.
