"From the moment I saw you trying to go over the wall. I have loved you desperately I cannot breathe when you are not near. I love you, Amyra. My heart calls your name. This darkness is my burden. You bring the light." I hugged her tightly like my li...
It brings joy to my heart every time someone chooses to read my work, and I express my sincere gratitude to all those who have extended their support.
However, I have noticed that while the reads are steadily increasing, the votes and comments have not quite caught up to the same extent. I must admit that I find this somewhat disheartening, especially as an author.
Therefore, I kindly request that those who have indeed read the book extend their support by leaving a vote and sharing their opinions through comments.
Also, kindly read the author's note at the end. There's an important announcement made.
Thankyou!
Happy reading y'all ❤️

As amyra opened her eyes, her vision was blurry and mind fuzzy from sleep, she reached out for Ahaan, expecting his warm, comforting presence next to her, but encountered an empty bed.
She sat up in bed, the covers pooling around her waist, as she looked around for any sign of him. The room was silent and still, the only sounds from the birds outside the window.
She pushed the covers aside and got out of bed, her feet making soft thumping sounds on the hardwood floor. She padded over to the bathroom, hoping he might be in there, but it was empty as well.
Amyra returned to the bedroom, a sense of disappointment and confusion washing over her. She wondered where he had gone and why he had gotten up without waking her. She crossed over to the window and peeked outside, but there was no sign of him in the garden either.
She decided to focus on getting ready for the day, as she made her way to the bathroom. She took a quick shower, the hot water helping to wake her up and clear her mind. After drying herself off, she wrapped a towel around herself and padded back into the bedroom.
She glanced at the bed, still feeling a pang of disappointment at Ahaan's absence. Amyra mentally shook off the feeling, knowing he must have had a reason for leaving without waking her.
She quickly got dressed, choosing a casual outfit - jeans, her favorite black short kurti, and a comfortable pair of sneakers. She decided to head downstairs, figuring he might be in the living room.
As she descended the stairs, she heard the faint sound of voices coming from the living room. She made her way towards the sound, hoping to find Ahaan and some answers.
When she entered the living room, she found Ahaan sitting in an armchair, chatting with someone on the phone. His expression was serious, his voice low and firm as he spoke.
As Amyra listened, she could hear the frustration and impatience in Ahaan's voice. He was clearly on a business call, and it wasn't going well.
"I've given you enough time already," he snapped into the phone, his tone sharp and authoritative. "The project needs to be finished by the deadline, and I won't tolerate any more excuses or delays."
