The pod lurched to a stop, the whir of machinery settling into a haunting silence. Y/n and Jungkook exchanged a tense glance before stepping out into the dimly lit chamber. The metallic walls reflected their apprehension, and the air felt charged with an unseen energy, amplifying the dread that had settled in Y/n’s chest since their conversation with Seokjin.

“What now?” Y/n asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jungkook took a deep breath, steadying himself. “We need to find out where we are and what the enemy is planning. We have to gather intel on Project Chronos and what it has to do with Seokjin.”

As they moved deeper into the facility, the sterile corridors felt like a labyrinth, each turn offering more uncertainty. The faint hum of machinery pulsed through the walls, and Y/n couldn’t shake the feeling that they were being watched. Her mind raced, piecing together the fragments of Seokjin’s warning—“They’ve been using me to build something far worse than Project Chronos.”

Suddenly, a soft beep echoed through the corridor, drawing Jungkook's attention. “This way,” he said, leading her to a nearby control panel. The screen flickered to life as Jungkook’s fingers danced over the display, scanning for any data related to Project Chronos.

“Come on, come on,” he muttered, frustration evident in his tone. After a moment, the screen lit up with various files, but one in particular caught Y/n’s eye: Project Chronos: Operation Annihilation.

“Jungkook, look at this,” she said, pointing to the file. “It sounds ominous.”

“Operation Annihilation?” he echoed, his brow furrowing. “What’s it about?”

He opened the file, and a series of diagrams and reports appeared on the screen. Y/n leaned closer, her heart racing as she read the contents. The project aimed to develop a weapon of mass destruction—an advanced system that could control and manipulate the very fabric of time, unleashing chaos across entire cities.

“They want to rewrite reality itself,” Jungkook said, his voice trembling with disbelief. “If they succeed, they could wipe out entire populations, reshape the world according to their desires.”

Y/n’s blood ran cold as the implications sank in. “And Seokjin…he’s being forced to work on this?”

“Exactly,” Jungkook said, clenching his fists. “They have his knowledge; they’ll use it to build this weapon. We need to find him and stop this before it’s too late.”

As Jungkook continued to scroll through the files, Y/n felt an unusual warmth spreading through her—an odd sensation that both comforted and confused her. It wasn’t the typical feeling of anxiety that gripped her in the face of danger. No, this was different, almost soothing, as if a fire was igniting inside her.

“Y/n?” Jungkook’s voice pulled her back to reality. “You okay?”

“Yeah, I’m fine,” she replied quickly, trying to shake off the warmth. “Let’s keep looking.”

They moved deeper into the facility, following the trail of information. As they navigated the maze of corridors, they stumbled upon a security room lined with monitors displaying various sections of the compound. Jungkook pressed a button, and the screens flickered to life, revealing footage of the facility’s operations.

“Look at this,” he said, pointing to a feed that showed a group of scientists working frantically. “That’s Seokjin!”

Y/n leaned closer, her heart racing. Seokjin was seated at a console, his brow furrowed in concentration, surrounded by armed guards. The sight of him filled her with a mix of hope and dread. “We have to get him out of there.”
