Yoongi's heart pounded as he stared at his father, the man who had just attacked him.

The shock and betrayal were evident in his eyes. "Father," he repeated, his voice barely a whisper.

His father, eyes filled with a mix of rage and regret, stood tall, his expression unreadable.

"Yoongi, you were never supposed to see this side of me," he said, his voice cold and distant.

Taehyung stepped forward, his spear still in hand. "Why are you doing this? What is the meaning of this attack?" he demanded, his voice steady despite the turmoil within.

Yoongi's father glanced at Taehyung, then back at his son.

"There are things you do not understand, things that have been set in motion long before you were born," he replied cryptically.

Yoongi's grip tightened on his sword. "Explain yourself," he demanded, his voice shaking with a mix of anger and confusion.

His father sighed, a weary look crossing his face.

"The kingdom of Aranthia has long sought to destabilize Goryeo. I have been working from within to protect our people, but sometimes, sacrifices must be made."

"By attacking your own son?" Taehyung interjected, his eyes narrowing.

"It was never meant to come to this," Yoongi's father replied, his voice softening.

"But alliances and betrayals are part of the game we play. I had hoped to keep you out of it, Yoongi."

Yoongi's mind raced, trying to process the revelations.

"So, all this time, you've been working with the black-clad warriors? You've been betraying our kingdom?"

His father shook his head. "No, I've been trying to protect it. But the lines between friend and foe are often blurred. I did what I thought was necessary."

Before Yoongi could respond, the sound of hurried footsteps approached.

Hoseok, Jungkook, Lisa, and Jimin appeared, their faces filled with concern and confusion.

"What's going on?" Jungkook asked, his eyes darting between Yoongi and his father.

"We're under attack," Taehyung explained quickly. "And it seems Yoongi's father is involved."

The royals of Elsiye's eyes widened in shock as they stared at Yoongi's father, knight Min Hyun.

The crown prince suddenly felt faint under the intense gaze of knight Hwan, who seemed to focus solely on him.

Yoongi noticed and quickly stepped in front of Jimin to shield him.

Hyun looked into Yoongi's eyes, taking a step forward but stopping when Taehyung's rigid voice cut through the silence.

"You betrayed us, you betrayed Goryeo, you betrayed my father. Why are you here then?" Taehyung's voice echoed in the silent garden.

Hyun sheathed his sword under the black sash around his waist and raised his palm to signal his men to stand down.

The black-clad warriors obeyed, emerging from their hidden positions in the trees, bushes, and even from beneath the lake, their skills leaving the royals in awe.

They wondered how these warriors had remained undetected.

"I Apologise your emperor I'll Elaborate everything but-" he paused eye's gazing at Yoongi with ire.

"never i have speculate my son, my blood, would fall in love with the son of the man who killed his mother,"

Hyun disclosed, his voice filled with a mix of sorrow and bitterness.
