Days of traversing the Shadow Realm had yielded an unsettling silence. Khronos, Hades, Athena, and their entourage had encountered only scattered creatures-no Guardian of the Meadow, no shades, no lurking threats.

Khronos's instincts screamed warning. He raised his fist, halting the group.

"Keep vigilant," he whispered to the guards. "Something feels off."

Approaching Hades, Athena, and the elite captain, Khronos voiced his concerns.

"It's too quiet. What if Keres awaits us, prepared? What if Hermes warned her?"

Hades nodded, understanding.

"An ambush or trap is possible."

Athena's eyes narrowed.

"It does sound like Hermes's tactics."

The elite captain suggested retreat, but Khronos refused.

"We're not cowards. We have a mission to complete."

Hades and Athena agreed.

"I'd rather we surprise Keres," Hades said, turning to Athena.

"Though your titles are stripped, you remain the Goddess of Wisdom, War, Strategy, Crafts, and Courage."

Athena's smile hinted at her anticipation.

"What strategy do you advise?" Hades asked.

Athena's gaze swept the surroundings.

"We should split into three groups. Khronos, take the Kyrexi guards and flank left. Captain, lead the elite guards to the right. Hades, you're with me, center."

Khronos nodded.

"Once in position, we'll converge, surrounding Keres's kingdom."

Hades's eyes sparkled.

"Then, we'll see who's been deceiving whom."

With a unified nod, the group prepared to execute Athena's strategy.

As they dispersed, the Shadow Realm's silence seemed to grow thicker, heavy with anticipation.

In the depths of the Shadow Realm, Keres, once a revered goddess of death among the Olympian pantheon, ruled over a twisted, nightmarish kingdom. Her realm, forged from anguish and vengeance, was home to legions of undead soldiers, bound to her will.

Keres's past was marred by tragedy. Her husband, the god of death, was slain by a rival deity. Consumed by grief and rage, Keres sought retribution, only to be cast out of Olympus and into the Shadow Realm.

Within this dark expanse, Keres's power grew. She claimed dominion over the shadows, bending the realm's twisted creatures to her command. Her kingdom became a testament to her unyielding wrath.
