Matt's POV

"OH MY GOD!" we heard from upstairs.

"What the hell was that?" Chris asked me and Mar.

"That was Nick screaming at what Olivia probably told him. And about what I just told you." I said, clarifying the situation.

"There's no way you guys don't end up together. You look so in love. Both of you." Mar said, making me smile.

"Oh you have no idea how much I love that girl." I responded. Chris took a second then turned to Marium.

"See? That could've been us." he said, surprising me with his boldness but by the look on Mar's face, she didn't exactly get the hint.

"Oh my god shut up." she laughed it off.

Suddenly, the door opened and the three of them entered the room. By the look on Livi's face and Nick's hyper expression I could tell she told them what I told Chris and Marium.

"So guys, when's the wedding?" Jay asked out of nowhere, making Olivia choke on her drink.

"Woah there Jay, baby steps. Are you okay?" I asked the girl that sat next to me.

"Yeah, he just has a way of saying the most random shit whenever I drink something." Livi said, making us all chuckle.

"Okay okay enough, let's watch the movie." Jay said as he pressed play, the title "The Conjuring 2" appearing on the screen.

We were pretty far into the movie and everyone was terrified except Olivia for some reason. Marium was hiding her face into a pillow while Chris covered his eyes with his hands and Nick was all cuddled up with Jay given the fact that they were both scared. I was holding Livi's hand, squeezing it when I would get scared but she seemed...fine?

"Okay so a demon is tormenting this family but hey, they gotta make it right? They're gonna be ok." Nick tried to calm himself down.

"As long as they find out its name." Livi muttered.

"What did you say?" Nick asked her as Jay paused the movie.

"As long as they find out its name." she said a little bit louder. We were still confused so I spoke up.

"What does that even mean?" I asked what we were all thinking.

"Knowing a demon's name gives you power over them. That's why they usually avoid questions regarding their name." Livi said making us all turn to her.

"What?" she asked us.

"How do you know that?" Jay asked her.

"I know a thing or two about the paranormal." she said casually.

"Oh I don't fuck with that shit." Nick stated as Olivia looked at him.

"Oh I heavily fuck with that shit." she said confidently.

"Why? It's creepy and scary and borderline disgusting." Mar said looking at the other girl.

"Well I've had my fair share of paranormal experiences throughout the last years of my life and I did some research and found out that I'm an empath." Olivia explained while we all looked terrified at her.

"I don't know what that is but it sounds scary." Chris said.

"An empath is a person who is more susceptible to people's emotions. It's also a person who is more in tune with the other side." she said as Cris' eyes widened.

"So if you thought I was scared of you before I just want you to know that now I'm terrified." he told her, making her chuckle a little bit.

"Don't worry, I'm pretty sure I didn't bring any spirits with me to the states." she said.

"Pretty sure?" Nick asked.

"Yeah, pretty sure. I only had like two experiences since I moved here so we're chilling." she told us, making me turn to her.

"We're chilling? This is everything but chill. And what do you mean you had them HERE?" I asked shocked since she never mentioned it before.

"One at my house and one at yours on Halloween night. At the party." she said.

"WHAT?" Nick screamed loudly scaring literally everyone in the room and probably the neighbours too.

"Yeah, I saw a little girl in the mirror when I went to check up on my makeup. But I talked to Sam and Colby since they're experts in this field and that was just Sally. Apparently she never left Sam after all." Olivia told us so casually, like she wasn't talking about fucking ghosts.

"Okay...anything else happened while we're on that note?" Nick asked hoping she wouldn't have anything else to add but when Olivia started speaking, Nick's face dropped.

"I got my ankles grabbed when I was down here one time." she said and I quickly got up and turned the light on.

"We're watching the movie like this or we're not watching anymore cause that's terrible!" I said and she just laughed.

"For all you know, you might have just kissed a real vampire." she said, feeding into Nick and Jay's delusions.

"Hmm, falling for a vampire doesn't sound too bad. As long as you don't bite my neck." I said, smirking a little bit.

"Can't make any promises." she said as Chris pretended to be sick.

"Ugh get a room." he said making us all laugh.

I sat back down and we finished the movie somehow. Since it was late at night, Livi told us that we could sleep over at her place which we agreed to do. Nick and Jay stayed in the second bedroom and I'd be lying if I said I didn't wanna spend the night with Olivia. But that would mean that either Chris or Mar would have to sleep down here and I couldn't let them since they were both freaked out about the ghost stories that were shared earlier. So me and Chris decided to sleep on the couch in the living room and let Mar sleep with Livi.

In the morning, Chris decided that he would spend the day with Mar. He wanted to take her shopping and then go to dinner later. This boy is whipped and the poor girl doesn't even know.
