In the dimly lit basement car park of the Rocket Entertainment building, Franky's heart raced as he spotted a familiar car. The gleaming black sedan with a number plate he knew all too well had just parked in front of his car. Tension coursed through him as he recognized it belonged to Ling.

He waited impatiently for the door to swing open, his mind racing with thoughts of Orm's safety. As Ling emerged, her expression was one of casual indifference, but that only fueled Franky's anger.

"What do you think you are doing?!" Franky yelled, gripping Ling's collar and pushing her closer to her car. "What are you going to do to Orm?!" His voice was thick with fury, his face flushed as he bore into her with a fiery glare.

"What are you talking about?" Ling blinked in surprise, clearly taken aback by his aggression.

"Tell me why you're hanging around Orm!" Franky demanded, his grip tightening. The intensity of his words hung heavily in the air, and he didn't care that she was a girl because she was still a vampire, a potential threat.

"I know what you are. I also know what you're trying to do by staying close to Orm," Franky continued, the accusation sharp in his tone.

Ling pushed his hand away with surprising strength. "Don't shoot your mouth off about things you don't know," she snapped, annoyance flashing in her eyes.

"Are you really going to kill her or something?!" Franky pressed, his voice rising to a near scream, frustration bubbling over.

Ling's eyes widened in shock at the implication. "Where did you hear that?" she asked, her composure cracking slightly.

"So, it's true?" Franky smirked, the bitterness dripping from his words. "Want to feel love with your heart pounding, huh? Do you really think a blood-sucking monster like you could ever fall in love?" Anger and sorrow mingled in his eyes. "You're a monster!"

At that moment, Ling felt a sharp pang in her chest, not from Franky's words, but from something deeper and more unsettling. It was a sensation she hadn't experienced in centuries—the frenzied beat of a heart that felt as if it were being crushed.

"Arghh!" Ling clutched her chest, gasping for breath, confusion and pain colliding within her.

"Don't make this stupid acting," Franky retorted, but deep down, he was equally shocked by her reaction, unsure of what to do.

Then, without warning, Ling's eyes glowed a fierce crimson, a primal instinct kicking in. "Orm!" Ling suddenly realized with dread that her beloved was in danger. Adrenaline surged through her as she sprinted toward the building's entrance, leaving Franky in stunned silence.

As she waited impatiently for the elevator to arrive, it felt as if time itself had stopped. Frustrated and anxious, Ling decided she couldn't waste another second. She bolted for the stairs, her vampire speed propelling her upward, following the intoxicating scent of Orm's presence as her guide.

While Franky, after hearing Ling called Orm's name echo in the empty basement, ignited his instincts to follow Ling. He dashed after her, but Ling was already a blur in his vision, her vampiric speed allowing her to ascend the stairs in a matter of moments. By the time Franky reached the first landing, he realized he had lost her.

"Ling!" he called out, desperation creeping into his voice. The urgency of the situation clawed at him. He couldn't let anything happen to Orm, not while Ling was racing toward her. But no response came from the shadows, only the eerie silence of the stairwell echoed back at him, amplifying the dread he felt deep in his gut.

The air in the office was thick with tension as Mark loomed over Orm and June, a sinister grin spreading across his face. "I see you both have a death wish," he sneered, raising his hand as if to strike Orm.
