Gulf saw Hen coming out from Orm's house. His gaze was locked onto him, seething with anger. Without hesitating, he bolted forward, his vampire speed cutting through the street like a blade. He grabbed Hen by the collar, voice cold but rising.

"What are you planning to do to my sister?" Gulf's words dripped with anger, fueled by the plans Suree had revealed.

"Let me go!" Hen's face twisted with annoyance, but his gaze didn't flinch. "I don't have time for this. I need to meet Ling," he demanded, tugging at Gulf's iron-like grip.

"So that you can kill her?!" Gulf growled, tightening his hold, his eyes blazing.

Hen's patience snapped. With a powerful shove, he sent Gulf stumbling back several meters. Gulf crashed to the ground, gritting his teeth as he steadied himself.

"Stop!" Suree's voice rang out as she rushed over from June's house. "Enough, you two!" She quickly bent down to help Gulf up, her eyes narrowed at Hen.

Hen barely spared Suree a glance, too consumed by his single focus. "I don't have time to explain everything. Ling is in danger, and I need to find her," he said, glancing at Gulf. "You can hit me all you want later, but right now, I think Mark has already set their plan in motion."

Suree clenched her fists. "That bitch!" she muttered, fury simmering in her voice.

Without waiting, Gulf swung his fist again, this time aiming directly for Hen's face, but Suree seized his arm mid-punch. "Gulf, stop. Fighting him isn't going to help us right now."

Gulf's nostrils flared, his anger barely contained. "Tell us the plan. Then we can talk."

Hen took a shaky breath, trying to regain his composure. "The hunters are setting a trap. They're going to lure Ling out by using Orm as a trap. I know her so well. Ling wouldn't want any of you to be involved, so she'll come there alone... right into their hands."

Gulf's fists clenched tighter. The thought of his sister walking blindly into an ambush gnawed at his core. "Who is the masterplan?!"

Hen sighed, looking away. "Franky and Orm's dad. I've just realized, they're from the descent who killed my sister, Prig." His voice cracked slightly. "I can't let them get away with destroying Ling, the only friend I have left."

Suree placed a steadying hand on Gulf's shoulder, her eyes dark. "Then we stop them. We counterattack them before they even have a chance to set up. But to do that, Hen, you need to be clear on exactly what their plan is. All of it."

Hen nodded. "They're setting up at the mountain where Franky's company is camping. It'll be under the guise of an innocent gathering, but it's heavily guarded. They'll have weapons from pure silver, white oak trees, and anything lethal to vampires. It's a trap in every sense of the word."

"Alright. Then we find Ling, fast. We can't waste any time," Suree's lips pressed into a thin line.

As they huddled closer, discussing strategies, June stood from her front gate, her eyes wide as she tried to process what she was seeing. She had witnessed everything—Gulf's supernatural speed, Hen's inhuman strength. She could barely process it.

Her mind reeled. What...are they? She took a step back, half-hidden by her gate, the world she knew feeling just a bit less familiar.

"I hope we can meet again," Ling said, extending her hand to Coach Saint with a genuine smile.

"I'll let you know if I go to Isan. I might start missing Bow's cooking too," Saint shook Ling's hand firmly, a small smile breaking his usually serious expression.
