The Sprinting Thistles

(Y/N)'s POV:
After Terence dropped me off, Rosetta wanted to know what we talked about

"So the sparrow man finally got to courage to talk to you huh sugar" Rosetta said raising her eyebrow as if in questioning.

I couldn't help but laugh at her expression
"Oh your just saying that"

I reply
"I was just talking to him about... stuff. That's all"

She gave me an unamused look, all I could do was stare at her while laughing nervously

"Oh come on sugarplum, you can't just leave me like this!" She wailed as she grabbed onto my arm.

"We'd better get some rest Rosetta, it's been a long day and I'm *yawn* sleepy" I try my best to act tired. I hardly ever keep things from her but tonight had to be an exception.

She's good friends with the garden fairies that said all those things about me. I don't want to come in between them.

And besides, I talked it over with Terence and I decided how I want to prove myself to them.

I'm going to tame those sprinting thistles in Needle Point Meadow.

Terence dosnt know what I plan on doing, far as I know, he thinks I'm going to distance myself from those girls. But it's like I told him, I don't want to let them down... and if the only way I can get them to recognize me is by taming those sprinting thistles then I'll do just that.

Early the next morning. I wake up and make my way to the Meadow. When I bump into Iridessa.

"Hey (Y/N)! What are you doing here so early?"
She asks me, she has a questioning look spread all over her face.

She was carrying a basket of sunflower seeds, and was in a rush to get them somewhere.

"Oh hey! Umm... nothing. I'm not up to anything. Just, hanging around haha"

Great, that was totally convincing....

"Oh... well alright then... I'll see you around then? I have to get these sunflower seeds into storage for the next harvest." She waves goodbye to me with her one free hand and heads over to the light fairy district.

Perfect, at least I wont have to worry about her interfering with my plans, or worrying about me.

I turn to leave as well when I noticed my map and planner had fallen out of my bag.

When I noticed  Iridessa pick up my planner and read the page it had open to

"How to catch sprinting thistles 101, by (Y/N)!!
WHAAAAT!"
I hear Iridessa yell. She had come back for the satchel she dropped when she saw my planner.

Great...

*time skip of a few minutes*

Iridessa has called an emergency meeting at my house with the girls and let's just say they are not too happy about my decision.

"There isn't a fairy ALIVE who can tame those things! What are you trying to prove!" She slams her hands on the table. I've never seen Rosetta so mad before.

"She's right (Y/N), we supported you because you've been so good at your craft, but this has gone to far" Silvermist too? Why can't they trust me. I know I can do it.

"I know I can do it, why don't you guys believe in me!"

"(Y/N)... I know how you feel, you feel like no one's listening, no one believes in what you can do, but trust me. I've been there." Tink says
