??? POV:

I was on my way to the dust keepers workshop when I heard a familiar voice.

It sounded like Terence's and that pesky wannabe (Y/N).

I flew towards their voices and took cover on top of a tree.

They seemed to be playing a weird game of tag.

I was about to leave as I saw nothing was happening between those two.

I was beginning to think that the rumors were false, when I see them lean into each other.

WAIT WHAT ARE THEY DOING NOW!

How DARE she kiss MY Terence!

The nerve of that girl! She just LOVES making my life more and more miserable by the minute.

I storm over to them and clear my throat.

"AHEM"

Terence looks at me, puzzled, as does (Y/N).

"Can I help you?" (Y/N) asked me, though I didn't like the tone she used.

"Why are you kissing Terrence? He's not even your boyfriend!" I yell at her

I see Terence step forward and place a protective arm around (Y/N) and spoke up first.

"What I do with my GIRLFRIEND is none of your business Yvette. I would appreciate it if you could leave us alone"

His tone was nothing like I have ever heard before. He's never spoken to me like that...

Wait a second did he say Girlfriend??

Oh no, this can't be... He was supposed to be with me!

This must be all (Y/N)'s fault! Had she not butted in, me and Terence would have been together, instead he's with her!

She must have guilt tripped him into doing so... yeah...she must have!

I'll make her pay! She can't get away with this. She needs to learn her place.

First she thinks she can show off her talent and upstaging the older fairies by capturing and taming those pesky Thistles, and then she thinks the older garden fairies would suddenly respect her for that!?

Pathetic.

Now she thinks she can steal my man from me?

Just who does she think she is...

(Y/N)'s POV

Just when both Terence and I had said we loved each other, and had finally kissed. I felt my whole world explode into millions of butterflies, it was such a warm feeling. I never wanted to leave his embrace.

When all of a sudden, I hear this agitating, grating voice.

I saw out of the corner of my eye an angry garden fairy storming her way over to us.

At first I thought maybe we had overstepped and shouldn't have kissed in such a blatant manner, and in such a crowded space.

I felt my face grow hot as I realized I've never shown this much affection for someone in public.

But then I realized what was going on.

I recognized her.

Yvette.

Yvette has always seems a little cooky to me, but she was always kind.

I never really had any reason to dislike her, but for some sick reason she had made up the idea that her and Terence were meant to be together.
