"Niall?" I asked, forgetting that I looked different and he probably didn't know who I was. I looked at their interlocking hands, stunned. Was this really the guy who tried to pick me up years ago? "Yeah?" He asked, his Irish accent still as thick as I remembered it. "Sorry I don't know how I know your name. Amber weren't you telling me you had an Irish friend?" I played out as if I wasn't who I was. Amber nodded, and I'm glad she played along with me. "Yeah, this is Niall and his boyfriend, Liam. Guess this is-" I cut her off. "Lee." I held out my hand. Liam took it, his grip firm. "Good to meet you." He smiled at me. His eyes crinkling when he did. "She's gonna be staying with me for a few days, so you'll probably be seeing a lot of her if you're at the house." Amber rambled. Niall looked at Louis, who stood up from buckling Fletcher in the car seat. "Do I know you?" He asked Louis. Louis shrugged and said, "I don't know, maybe. I travel a lot." He smiled at the couple. "This is my cousin, Louis." I introduced them. Liam looked at his watch, "Well my sister's plane got here twenty minutes ago, she's probably looking for us. It was nice meeting you two and I'll see you later Amber." Then they were on their way. I let out a breath. "Lee? Really Skye? That's the best name you could think of? That's your name smart one." She laughed when we got into her car.

We got to Harry's house, I wasn't surprised at how big it was. With all the money he makes selling drugs that is. "He isn't home, I don't think. So we should be good. Remember you guys are my friends from high school, you're cousins. And little Fletcher was the result of a one night stand." Amber rushed out as we got out of the car. "Well in a way, he kind of was." I muttered as I got my sleeping baby out of the car seat. He put his face in my neck and his soft snoring started once again. I shut the door and I saw Louis had the bags. "Lou, I could've gotten a few of those." I said to him as Amber shut the trunk and went to open the front door. "You've got something more important than clothes in your hands." He smiled at me. I rolled my eyes and said, "Well I'm carrying them back to the car when we leave."

"Thanks for letting us stay here." I said to Amber later that night when everyone was asleep. She'd made us tea and we sat in the kitchen, just talking. "It's no problem. You know you'll always have a place where ever I am living." She smiled as she sipped her tea. "It's been forever since I've been able to do this." I mused after a few moments of comfortable silence. "What?" She looked at me. "Just talk to another female. I've been surrounded by men for way too long." I laughed looking back at my bestfriend. She was about to say something when the front door opened. "Amber? Are you awake?" I heard his voice.

"Amber? Are you awake?" I called out when I walked through the door. Maybe she left the kitchen light on again. I went to slid off my boots and I saw a pair of heels, a pair of converses, and a pair of baby shoes? "What the hell?" I muttered as I took off my shoes. "In the kitchen!" I heard her call out. I took a deep breath, prepared for a scene of one of the women I slept with years ago , an angry boyfriend of hers, and a kid with dark curly hair much like my own. Instead, to my relief, it was only Amber and a girl I'd never seen before. She had blue hair and matching bright blue eyes. "Hey." I kissed Amber's cheek. "Hey, Harry this is my friend from high school, Lee. Lee this is my, um, roommate Harry." Amber said gesturing to us. "Nice to meet you." The girl, Lee, smiled and held out her hand. I took it, her hand was quite small in my own. Her nails were painted black. The nail shape the same as-no Harry. This isn't Skye. Be polite to the love of your life's friend. "You too." I managed out, hoping neither of them heard the strangled noise before I spoke. She left go of my hand and my hand was cold. I gave an involuntary shiver. "I'm gonna head to bed. Goodnight Amber." Lee hugged her. "Goodnight, Harry." She smiled a little at me before she headed up the stairs. I noticed she'd been quite short as well. I let out a breath I didn't I'd been holding. "Do you like her?" Amber asked with a smile. This was the happiest I'd seen her since that day. "She's nice." I said getting a beer out of the fridge. "Whose shoes are on the shelf?" I asked. "Their hers, Louis', and Fletcher's'. Louis is Lee's cousin, and Fletcher is her baby boy. I can't wait till you seen him, Har. He's absolutely the cutest thing in the world." Amber gushed about the kid. I smiled at her. "Well then I can't wait to see him." I took a sip of beer, the stupid small bottle barley held anything in it so I finished it in no time. Amber put the two mugs in the dishwasher, kissed my cheek, and said, "I'm gonna go to bed. Night, Har." I said the same and watched her as she went up the stairs. Those too short shorts she always wore to bed showed her everything from this angle. I rubbed my temples. "Calm down, Harry. There's a kid in the house." I gave myself a pep talk.
