Suitcase's POV:

Lunch isn't exactly my favorite time of the day.

First of all, everyone in there is so loud. It's really unnecessary! Second of all, I don't exactly have a large group of friends, it's mainly just me and Balloon, so it's kind of lonely with just him. However, in Gym class, I met two people who were friendly enough. Their names are Nickel and Baseball. Baseball's really sporty, and Nickel's pretty short but very sarcastic. Kind of annoying sometimes, but whatever. Anyway, our interaction when we first met went like this:

I was just running around the track, since the gym teacher told us to do two laps for the day. I'm not a very fast runner though, so as expected, I was falling behind. Just then, I heard someone yell behind me.

"Wow. You really are slow, aren't you?"

I turned around, finding someone I didn't know standing there, laughing. He had grayish hair, a beanie on his head, and black eyes. I noticed that his gym clothes were a bit too big on him. He was behind me on the track, so I laughed, saying, "You can't be talking! You're behind me!"

He raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really?" He then ran faster, running ahead of me on the track. I was shocked. For a short guy, he was pretty fast.

"How did you—" I sputtered.

"Practice!" He interrupted, slowing his pace to match mine. We started talking during the rest of class, and when the bell rang, he introduced me to Baseball.

"Hey, Baseball, meet Suitcase! She's slow." He chuckled. I gave him a death glare. "Not very nice." I grumbled. Baseball, however, made no comment on the small insult.

"Nice to meet you, Suitcase! Oh, do you want to sit with us at lunch? You can bring anyone else you'd like to our table." Baseball smiled. I shrugged, replying with "Sure, why not? I'll bring someone I know—I'm sure they'd like to meet you!"

And then lunch came, and I brought Balloon over to our table. He seemed nervous. Weird. "Are you sure that they're friendly?" He asked.

"Don't worry, they're super nice. Nickel's a bit...hard to get used to, to be honest, but Baseball's friendly." I reassured him, gesturing for him to sit down. I sat across from Baseball, and he sat across from Nickel.

"Oh, is this your friend, Suitcase? Nice to meet you!" Baseball smiled. Balloon gave a small wave. Nickel however, didn't say anything.

"This is Balloon, you guys. We've been friends since sixth grade." I said, placing a hand on Balloon's shoulder. He started to relax a little. Afterwards, it was pretty quiet. We mostly talked about our schedules, and how our morning classes went. Nickel was talking about his History class when someone threw a banana peel and it landed straight at the back of his head. He peeled it off, looking behind him. The person who threw it had blonde hair and blue eyes, and was giving him a sheepish smile.

"Lightbulb...what did you do?" One of their friends gasped out.

"Lightbulb," since that was their name, shrugged. Then someone poured a carton of milk on her head. They turned around. The person who was holding the now empty carton of milk was holding in their laughter.

Oh no.

Fan's POV:

"FOOD FIGHT!" Someone at the back of the cafeteria yelled, standing up. I immediately ducked under the desk, and Test Tube followed.

"What are they doing? They'll all get suspended!" Test Tube said shakily. From a gap between the seat and the table, I could see food flying everywhere. Suddenly, someone went under our table, cursing under their breath.
