Hi! Here is the continuation and end of the duel against Banner (aka Amnael). Feel free to vote if you liked it or comment.
I gritted my teeth in rage, my determination growing stronger. He picked, before activating "Chaos Greed".
Banner: I can only use it if I have more than three banned cards and no cards in the graveyard. So I draw two cards.
He finished his turn, laying them down. As long as his absorber was on the field, I couldn't attack with any monster. I had to find a way to destroy it! So it was my turn. I activated "Pot of Greed" to draw two new cards. And just what I needed. I started by summoning Clayman before equipping him with "Clay Tablecloth". Then I merged him with Burstinatrix to summon Rampart Artillerywoman (ATK:2000-DEF:2500).
Artilleuse du Rempart: ATK: 2000-DEF:2500
Syrus: But he could have fused them with his hand. Why invoke Clayman?
Me smiling: Good question, Syrus. When Claycloth goes to the graveyard, it can destroy an opponent's magic card or trap.
So, I choose the elemental absorber, giving me the freedom to attack.
Banner: Well done, Jaden! Nice use of fusions. With them, your potential is limitless!
Annoyed me: Shut up! Stop acting like a teacher!
So, I launched my attack on him. But he activated another card called Macro Cosmos. He banished his Chaos Distiller. The latter heated up more and more, before exploding in a blinding black-and-white flash. When we opened our eyes, we found ourselves back in space.
Me: What? In space?
Banner: Indeed, Jaden. Our duel has gone beyond the human world and we're now in the void of the cosmos. Well, almost. Thanks to Macro Cosmos, I can summon from my hand or deck, Helios Sun Primordial
Helios, Primordial Sun: ATK: 1100-DEF:1100
A star shining brightly, twinkling with all its brilliance as planets circled around it.
Banner: Well, it looks like this sun has more gravity than my monster.
Me: What do you mean?
The circling planets turned out to be Chazz, Alexia, Cecilia and Isidores. They tapped away in their prisons, seemingly trying to speak. But no sound came. But where was Selya? My concern grew, seeing her absence. What had Banner done to her?
Banner: What's down is like what's up. What's up is like what's down. These truths, inscribed in the Eméeraude table. The world was born of a single material, which then diversified. Thus creating heaven and earth. So everything is linked to everything else, and everything influences everything else. This is true of the microcosm, the world of humans, and the macrocosm, the world of the heavens. And in both worlds, a star connects them, bringing both life and death.
Me: So, humans and the heavens are linked?
Banner: You've been fed up with modern science and can't understand it. Alchemy is the science of making the impossible possible.
Then he opened his eyes, revealing menacing red ones.
Banner: Pay close attention to my last lecture, Jaden!
Me: Science or alchemy, I don't care. Where's Selya?!
Banner smiling: Haven't you figured it out yet? I knew you had a hard head, Jaden, but not this hard. Selya's here, with your other friends.
Jmoi: Stop talking! She's nowhere to be seen!
Banner smiling: Really, Jaden? Did you hear what I said? Take a good look around you.
