The Return

Aeila's child Sunbear was born just before a quiet midnight as Snow, a fully qualified midwife, and Calianni, the Medicine woman for the tribe, supervised. Cloud had come out long enough to give his old friend a long hug as he cried for their loss. Snow and Kynna had helped the pregnant woman with light healing spells to make up for what Aeila's time in that bubble cost her. Dar had stayed outside the hut, wings out, his body language anxious and angry as he and Kynna sensed the land around them, desperate for any sign of their little girl and their Guardian. Darsian and Liandra, staying together, had combed the land fruitlessly for sign...nothing. Toward the middle of the night, Darsian had quietly asked his father if he and Liandra could get married at the next full moon back on Earth, "I am supposed to ask for her hand in marriage" A weeping Knight had nodded and managed a smile, "It's about time son..." Their mother, already crying quietly nodded upon being called over and told. Heraditeez, Luna and Myca had greeted them with a full guard upon their return to hell later that night. The Vizier's eyes closed in grief upon looking into the faces of his sovereigns. He knew, without even asking. Luna and Myca bowed and wept silently almost as if they had lost a daughter. The word spread fast from there about the death of their Princess in this Last Battle of the Hart Wars and tributes and condolences poured in from all over their realm. A missive had arrived from the Dragon Planes expressing their grief at this loss and their joy in the family's final victory. Kynna was hiding her emotions as she walked past everyone she ruled. She knew she had to be that strong Queen in front of everyone else but her family. She nods to the missive from the dragon's realm, "You came here for another reason as well I'm assuming, correct? And I'm guessing it has to do with our friends missing skull?" She motions to the spot Cyres' skull once was on their wall.

Dar watched Heraditeez smile and say quietly, "The skull twinkled and disappeared over a few seconds. Everyone in the room felt a wave of peace and... well...contentment. That was, maybe four hours ago?" Luna and Myca nodded as Luna said, "We were waiting for word my Queen, when the moment of the explosion came... we all felt it, we felt something. Something joyous as strange as it sounds." Myca nodded in agreement before Myca continued in her high-pitched voice, "But after, we felt a sense of something being gone. But we didn't know what." Kynna sits back in her throne sighing and looks to the ceilings, "She wasn't my blood but Iistill loved her as my own... she was Cassandra Hart's daughter. Dar i think she needs to know what happened. Myca let Sebastian know his mother died at his nieces hands, at the cost of her own life" Myca nodded..."I'll let both boys know...I doubt we'll see their mother's spirit here. Any idea what punishment she will receive?" Dar snorted, "An eternity here would be many eternities too short. I read about Hitler as a kid, never thought I would cross paths with one." Darsian touched his dad's arm, "Miranda once said Glinda will go where nothing is...eternities alone in darkness with no way to leave. An eternity of non-existence." Liandra chuffed, "Still too light for all she did." Dar snorted, "Yep."

Kynna looks at Dar then everyone else, "I want everyone here to leave but my family...please everyone..." Heraditeez made a sound...and they all kneeled in silence for a second bowing their heads. Then they stood as one and made their way out of the hall as Dar went to his wife. Darsian and Liandra right behind him, "I am sorry love...I couldn't stop them." Kynna stands up going to a window and looks out it, "Love call her and Arthur now. She should know what her daughter did to her grandmother..." That made Darsian perk up as he never knew the full truth about Miranda. Dar stepped outside and called back, "Tell them love...this will take a few minutes." He went out and opened a portal to Arthur's realm before sending him a note to come visit them and to bring Cassandra. Kynna looks at the kids and sighs, "Son, do you remember when we got you back from that old crone? And how I became pregnant with Miranda because of Abagail?" Darsian smiled and whisper to his mother, "I know some of it...dad hurt Cassandra really bad, and Abigail was stolen to provide a womb for the baby...how did you wind up with her?"
