Then the Knight sighed and donned his armor, glad his weight hadn't ballooned during his wheelchair-bound time. He felt tears coming to his eyes as he buckled his sword back on. 'A long time indeed', he thought to himself as Darsian and Liandra donned their own armors. "Here's the situation... Glinda got frozen, maybe stoned, by the Dragon gods for attacking me but found a way to reflect the spell back on them, at least partially freezing them as well," he pointed to the mountain, now awash in storms, "I have no idea what we're walking into up there but FOR CERTAIN, Glinda is there. Anyone who comes, no idea how rough it'll get." Dar gestured to the Queen and smiled at her. Kynna closed her eyes and summoned all her armor on her body. And when her eyes opened, her eyes were pitch black again. She smirks darker than she ever did, "Its been years coming as she is the one that broke the pact, she enacted. We upheld our end. We demons are ones of our words. Even with her here in this realm, we never once got between her and her goal as we still held up our end. But she possessed Aeila and Cloud to get what she wants. Aeila raped Cloud and is pregnant..." Dar looked at his wife and asked, "Aeila was at the dig site, what happened to her? Mikarin thinks those obsidian rocks are for some ritual about unleashing the fire of the first dragon on their gods." He looked over all of them, this would be a bad one, he thought. Some of these wouldn't be coming home. Kynna growls some, "That is why I was so against her digging up the burial lands. The ancients believed those stones were meant for destruction."
Dar nodded, "At least she ain't here, we saw a streak running across the sky... the dragons tried to stop it..." Then he saw Darsian shaking his head, "We heard Glinda's voice, and she grabbed her through a portal somehow." Heraditeez spat as Dar swore silently. "If that streak was her milord," the Vizier said. "She has the stones," Dar winced. "Only four of them," Darsian said. "That won't be enough," Dar swung to see Mikarin, now wearing some kind of bronze armor, speaking as she returned to the room, "You're fighting for our world... I won't run like the others. I'm no warrior... but I won't run." he showed her perfect fangs and teeth, "She needed all six stones. Four to destroy the forms of the gods, 1 to force their remaining power into herself... and likely the sixth to destroy all of you." Kynna looks at Mikarin, "She can't get to one as the souls are all too tainted, nor can we get to it as it is in a holy lake in the mortal realm." Dar saw Mikarin look at her curiously, "We need to keep any humans from helping her... the sixth was always just a rumor... supposedly hidden in a Hidden land known only to the Val'ha'kheem. Sorry, human shamans." Dar scowled at looked at Kynna, "Hidden land... right where her fucking book is..." Kynna smirks as her eyes flashed dark light, "One place a tainted soul cannot step foot on without pain." Dar nodded, "And demons burst into flames..." Mikarin gasped, "But a god may have the power to forcibly enter... if she destroys even one of the monoliths..." Dar got to see a dragon cursing in her language, "Okay, so the bitch has to be stop punched, now. Liandra... wait... Mikarin... I would not bet against her knowing we're coming... is there someplace we can enter unseen?" Mikarin looked confused, "I'm just an archivist, only priests and the like go there." Dar winced, "Anything? Any idea at all?" The dragon thought and touched Liandra's head, "Portal us right there."
Kynna watches but doesn't react knowing that Mikarin was needed to get them there. She looks at Dar, "Love why didn't you tell me about the voices... you never did." Dar really didn't want to deal with this right now, "I thought I was going crazy; it was my own head punishing me for getting hit. For not being able to fix it." Ar-Khan stepped forward, "I will go through first... if I sense anything I'll try to be hard to hit so all of you can get in." Liandra motioned she was ready. "I am sorry love," Dar tried to put ten years of hurt into his face as he looked at her. Ten years of feeling weak and inadequate, unable to defeat one bloody curse or spell. Kynna places her head into his chest shutting her eyes thinking. She was wanting to be the one he could have relied on, but she guesses that he did feel like he could. Kynna watched Ar-Khan and the portal, she waited for the notion to go. Dar knew he'd have to pay for this mistake at some point. He had no idea when, this had hurt her, and badly. Right now, he had to set that aside, he had a fight to win. Mikarin held up a finger, "One second..." She stepped back and opened a golden portal before shouting a few sentences into it in a language Dar could not understand. Nodding, she closed the portal and turned back to them, "Ready..." Liandra nodded and gathered herself opening a portal to the spot indicated by the dragon. Wind and a roaring sound rushed through to greet them; the imps had trouble holding their footing. "It's fighting me, i can't keep it open for long!", Liandra cried. Dar motioned for Ar-Khan to go. The golden lion leaped into the portal. Kynna tries to create a bubble around the rest us the group to ease the wind around there. She was worried but knew she had to focus on the task at hand, "We have to stop Aeila and get any stones they have!" Dar nodded as he heard Ar-Khan call back, "weapons out! She had some kind of flyers here an..." His voice cut out as Dar drew his sword and charged, "Flyers eh... Minions of Hell... with me!" He saw Darsian, Heraditeez and Liandra draw and follow... Kynna walks through without drawing her own blade as she now focused on her goal. It was to save Aeila and kill if necessary.
