Sunny woke up on the right side of the bed the next morning. Not enough to smile or anything, but he was pretty pumped about making it to the next round. Especially since Mari wouldn't go just to support Ari anymore. Life was G! Very Good indeed. The Sun rose and so did he. He was ready to put all the chaos behind him and write a new song with his friends.

"Sunny, you have work today." Mari reminded him. She looked awful. Tears were still staining her cheeks. After her and sunny jumped home last night, she realised it hurt her knee and it reminded her of ari's very long boots and then she remembered Ari would never come back to see her again... Ugh, and she cried about how she would never recover. But Sunny knew better. Mari would get over it within the next week or so. She just needed a bit of time. Anyway. Sunny had too much going on to even ENTERTAIN the idea of going to work today.

"na u know what. who the fuck is ordering pizza at 6am? bruh im outta here..." sunny said, going outside and to the opposite direction of the pizza place.

"Sunny! It's still a job!" Mari shouted from inside. she couldn't be bothered getting up to stop him. like she already did her best the past few times he tried to skip but like it was over. She done. She has nothing if she doesn't have Ari.

So, Sunny continued walking impulsively, realising he didn't have anything for breakfast, he headed to the nearest WcDonalds. Ugh but it was too far to walk... So he got in his car (one of the tiny red and yellow ones that kids have) and drove there. He blasted MCR down the street on his bluetooth speaker, feeling the wind in his hair and past the sunglasses he stole from Kel that he was now wearing. It took him longer to get there than it would've to walk because he kept getting too tired to use his legs and had to stop for breaks. He barely even made it to the drive thru speaker.

"yo wsg it's sunny" he said, looking up at the speaker. they better not spit in his food

after a 10 second wait, he heard a response... from Basil. "Yes? Hello, Sunny, what can I get you?"

"bruh can u ask someone else to come to the speaker..." he mumbled.

"what?"

"can i hav a breakfast WcMuffin..." he corrected quickly.

"Yep! Anything else..?"

"naw yk what i'm gonna b making a couple stops to the chicken place across the street and ur biggest rival Purger Queen so..."

Basil paused before answering again. "Okay, um... feel free to drive ahead then..."

The speaker cut off and sunny rolled his eyes as he moved forward. Basil didn't even double check to make sure his order was right. Sunny swore that if a crumb was out of place he would get Basil fired in an instant. He drove to the next window where Basil stood, awaiting payment. He was shaking a little bit, hardly even noticing Sunny had arrived yet (he was really short because of the baby car). Sunny knocked on the glass really hard and it cracked. Basil opened the window.

"yo i ain't bring any cash can u cover it for me?" he asked

"Um, Sunny, I cant.." basil frowned and his face contorted into complete worry.

"k then double it and give it to the next person"

"that's not how it works..."

sunny scrunched his eyebrows. "it's a fucking WcMuffin bro they won't care if i don't pay"

Basil looked around rapidly, ensuring no coworkers were around. "I-I'll pay, okay? Just drive ahead.."

Sunny cheered! Score! He loved getting free stuff!!!! He drove ahead, blasting his fav songs again and waited for his food, which was taking a bit longer than usual... He heard faint sobs from inside that were def Basil's but Sunny turned up his speaker and felt better. Eventually Basil came to the window with hair messier than before and told sunny to wait in the bay for someone to run out with his food. Sunny scoffed and didn't bother trying to explode basil because he knew it wouldn't work. He complied only because he was hungry af and needed his muffin asap. It took him 5 minutes for someone to run out with a little WcDonal bag
