"Tomorrow is a battlefield of emotions, where frustration and excitement collide. I won't let him get under my skin; I'll stand my ground and show him how fierce I can be."

You and Jungkook stepped into the patient's room, the scent of antiseptic mingling with the faint aroma of floral air freshener. The patient, a lively guy in his late twenties with a vibrant personality, was propped up in bed, a charming smile plastered across his face as he scrolled through his phone.

"Hey there! How are you feeling?" you asked, flashing a warm smile.

"Feeling fantastic, thanks!" he chirped, his voice all sunshine and rainbows. "Just a little sore from the surgery, but nothing I can't handle!" However, you couldn't shake the feeling that he was eyeing Jungkook like he was a delicious slice of cake, lingering a bit too long and with an intensity that made you raise an eyebrow in confusion but you chose to ignore it.

You nodded, your smile widening as you made your way over to the chart hanging at the foot of the bed. Jungkook joined you, his fingers deftly flipping through the patient's files. "So, let's see," he said, scanning the pages. "Hit-and-run case, huh? You were lucky; a broken leg and some bruising is nothing compared to what could have happened."

The patient nodded, clearly appreciative of the medical attention he was receiving. "Yeah, I guess I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. But hey, I got a cool scar out of it, right?" he joked, gesturing to the bandage wrapped around his leg.

You exchanged a glance with Jungkook, both of you smiling at the patient's optimism. "It's definitely a story to tell," you said, your tone encouraging. "But we need to keep an eye on your recovery. You're going to be on crutches for a while, and we'll schedule some physical therapy to help you regain full mobility."

Jungkook leaned in closer to the chart, his brow furrowed in concentration. "It looks like you also had some soft tissue damage around your knee from the impact," he noted, flipping to a section detailing the MRI results. "We'll keep monitoring that closely, but overall, you're healing well. Just take it easy, and follow the discharge instructions carefully."

"Got it, Doc!" the patient replied, flashing a thumbs-up. "I promise I won't try to run a marathon just yet."

You chuckled, relieved that the patient maintained such a good spirit despite the circumstances. "Smart move! You'll have plenty of time for that later. For now, let's just focus on healing." You and Jungkook finished reviewing his files, noting the important points for his recovery.

Jungkook leaned back against the counter, crossing his arms and smiling. "Anything else you need.

"Nope, already feeling fantastic, thanks! But I'd feel even better if I had a handsome doctor taking care of me," the patient replied, his eyes glinting with mischief as they landed on Jungkook and scanned him from head to toe.
