~*Chapter 14*~
"Sweet Serendipity... that unexpected meeting that changes your life"-Alexia
You stepped into the cabin, and once again, you were struck by the man's magnetic presence. There was just something about him—his ethical aura and, oh, those dimples. They could probably launch a thousand ships.
Namjoon squinted at you as if he were trying to solve a complex math equation. After a brief moment, recognition lit up his face, and his eyes widened. You stood awkwardly by the door, giving him a polite bow, feeling a mix of nostalgia and embarrassment.
"Please come in," Namjoon said, shaking off whatever fog had clouded his mind. He straightened in his chair, looking like the picture of professionalism. You nodded at Jungkook, gesturing for him to join you, and as he stepped inside, Namjoon raised his eyebrows, scanning Jungkook as if trying to place him from last time. Spoiler alert: he didn't remember.
Namjoon smiled warmly at the two of you. "Please take a seat," he said, gesturing to the chairs in front of his desk. You nodded gratefully and strolled over, Jungkook at your side.
"Is this the one you coffee-masked?" Jungkook whispered through clenched teeth, his curiosity barely contained.
You leaned in closer, whispering back, "No, this is the nice one. And do you really think I'd stain those adorable dimples?" You smirked, and Jungkook rolled his eyes, stifling a laugh.
You took a seat, flashing a bright smile at Namjoon. "It's nice to see you again, Dr. Kim," you said, hoping to avoid any awkwardness about last time. Namjoon looked pleasantly surprised that you hadn't immediately thrown it in his face. "Likewise, Dr. Kang," he replied, returning your smile while clearing his throat, a little unsure of how to proceed.
Then, he turned his gaze toward Jungkook, who was staring back at him with the enthusiasm of a sloth on a Sunday morning.
"And you are...?" Namjoon asked, raising an eyebrow in inquiry.
