LATER THAT DAY, Tatum's home alone while her parents are out at work. She's not used to not having to do anything. These past few years, all she's known was to keep moving. Guess that's just how life is in New York. And back here, it's just calm and collected. Definitely something she's missed a lot.
The girl has been doing some thinking. Now that her and Rafe are all good now, giving the fact that he needs time to get these papers signed, maybe it's alright for her to see what he's been up to these years. Finally now, the girl is at ease with deciding to see what she's missed about his life.
She's had many urges to look him up to check up on how Rafe was doing throughout the years, but could never bring herself up to. Now there's some kind of closure that she didn't think she needed and received from Rafe just recently.
Her fingers go up to the search bar, typing in the letters to his name on the keyboard. Rafe Cameron. The first profile that pops is him, but Tatum isn't sure if this is an old account or still his account from years ago.
It's hard to determine since the profile photo is still the same as it was when she was there from the beginning. Tatum takes a deep breath in, debating to click on it—afraid to see what was on there. She quickly releases a quick breath, finally clicking on his profile.

There's a new recent photo she hasn't seen before and everything else are posts from years ago. Not much to work with, but good enough. But there is something Tatum notices and it's a post he's deleted. A post that had a photo of her. It was the first post he's ever posted the day she helped him make an account.
A part of her feels a little gutted out by it, but it shouldn't let her affect her since their chapters has been closed off for years now.
Tatum clicks on his most recent post. It's a photo of him next to a cliff with the sea behind him. The view is phenomenal. She reads the caption which reads:
Traveled the world. (kind of)
She smiles at the thought that he's done things out of his comfort zone after moving away. There are many things she knows she's missed through the years and Tatum had accepted the fact that she isn't part of Rafe's life anymore, or anybody from her home town. They're just people with memories and stories she tells others in her life now.
Tatum doesn't think for a second and presses the blue follow button under his profile picture. What's done is done and he's going to get a notification that she's now followed him after all these years.
Not even a minute goes by—Tatum has put her phone down on the kitchen counter to get a snack, and her phone rings a new notification. She assumes it's Owen checking up on her again when she uses her face to unlock her phone to see that Rafe has followed her back.
