The Way Home to You

Should we go home to you or home to me?
At the road's fork, we stand in uncertainty,
Where shall we end the day,
Or shall each of us go home to our own?

After a wonderful date with you,
I want nothing more than to go home to me.
But we look at each other,
And ask everyone else.

Should we go home to you or home to me?
Should we kiss each other,
Or should we roll on the porch?
Or shall each of us go home to our own?

I stare into your diamond blue eyes,
I place my hand against your cheek,
I gaze into your soul,
And ask you softly and beautifully.

Should we go home to you or home to me?
Or shall each of us go home to our own?

With butterflies in my stomach, your lips move,
You speak and blush,
Your cheeks become warm and there are tears,
I caress your cheek, and you respond.

I want to go home to you,
Rolling around in the hay and mixing,
Kissing you and embracing your arms,
I want to love like everyone else.

Then we'll take the way home to me,
And caress each other's bodies,
We turn right and begin to wander down the street,
Two little sunbeams in the embrace of darkness.
