I wander in the darkness and fear the Boogie Man,
He who is said to hunt and kill for the thrill,
A legendary monster that should not exist,
Yet, according to tales, he roams unceasing.A terrifying being that thrives on blood and fear,
Enjoys the fragile beautiful bodies of mankind,
Loves to see their horror and blood seeping
Through tiny, tiny knife wounds.Beware of being caught in his embrace,
Never wander alone in the power of darkness.
Though I defy these tales,
I bravely walk through the mist of night.Do not fear the Boogie Man's terrible roar,
When he howls against the stars' twinkle.
He breathes and pants on your neck,
Psyching you into turmoil with delight. He is an essence of evil and wanders alone,
He is the powers of darkness and feasts upon you.
He plays with his prey,
Torturing and reveling in their lamentations. For the Boogie Man, this is the pleasure of life,
Nothing else does he desire
But chaos in psychological pain.
The Boogie Man searches for his next victim,
So beware, you careless ones. Now for the twist in this dictation,
He who walks boldly through the night
And fears not the terror of the Boogie Man
Is the Boogie Man himself in his own high person.
He writes this poem
With the blood of his victims,
He creates this symphony
As a symbol of his reign of terror.
