In an open sea, the waves crash against the hull,
My heart lies beside me in a sarcophagus,
A desecration for love's sake,
In a dominant world on the seven seas.
Powerful winds lash at my leather,
The dark sky poisons the world,
In a sea of debris and blood,
The blood from my heart runs along the rudder.
A fierce storm in a cold atmosphere,
In a tempest with the gods,
We defy the powers and push through,
Despite the fear in our bodies.
It is for love's sake that I set sail,
A vessel laden with dynamite,
To reach the edge of the Earth
And blow a path into new worlds.
For you, my darling, I dare everything,
Fight against time and ride into the sunset,
Blow the horn and summon the ancients,
I will fight until my last breath for you.
Holding tightly to your heart,
Knowing it's too late,
That's why I will blast my way
A path into the realm of the dead.
I will fight my way through with sword and man,
All for my love for you, my little darling.
You promised forever, that's why I defy the powers,
As I slowly glide into the mists.
Getting drunk from morning till night,
Tenderly holding you, my little heart,
Sharing my laughter with what remains of you,
And shedding a tear when the alcohol runs out.
On an open sea, I defy the powers of the gods,
My poor heart lies in a sarcophagus beside me.
I cry and get drunk again,
Slowly slipping through the gates of hell.
