Narrator

Sarah Singh has had a tragic life. Her parents died when she was just 5 years old, and she was then taken in by her uncle and aunt. Instead of providing a loving home, they began to abuse and bully her, taking advantage of her vulnerable situation. Despite this, Sara remains a kind and determined person, with a strong wish to study medicine. Her cousin, Lily, is also cruel to her, adding to the difficult circumstances in which Sara finds herself.

Sarah is currently 23 years old and has always dreamed of studying medicine. However, her uncle and aunt refuse to let her pursue her dreams and instead are pressuring her to marry someone of their choosing. They justify this by claiming that their business is failing and that the marriage would help them financially. If she refuses, they threaten to disown her, leaving Sara feeling trapped and helpless.

To make matters worse, Lily, Sara's cousin, is also a part of her uncle and aunt's plans and adds to the pressure and emotional manipulation that Sara is facing.

Sarah's pov

Sarah has to agree for the marriage..
She sat in bedroom with a heavy heart, thinking she doesn't even know who the man is and she is going spend her life with him

She took her parents photo in her hand and cried while saying "can I be a doctor ma and pa
I don't want to live anymore why do u have to leave me alone please take me to u" she said and cried all night and eventually fall in sleep

The morning arrived with a soft, golden light, gently illuminating the room. I woke up and went downstairs.

My aunt said " Your marriage is in three days. Be ready"

Sarah replied" three days what isn't it too early"

Aunty said "don't teach us how to do things.you misfortune"

Sarah "but I haven't seen The man I am going to marry.. she said it while fear consuming her body

Aunt replied " you gonna see him on the wedding day" . Now go and do the laundry or no food for u and by the way his name is Aarav Verma a business man"

No one's pov

As her curiosity got the better of her, Sara decided to look up Aarav Verma online. She soon discovered that he was the CEO of the prestigious "Verma Industries." The media articles and online news outlets depicted him as a handsome and successful businessman, yet she noticed a recurring theme in the comments section - he was known for his cold and distant behavior, earning himself the nickname "cold boss." She couldn't help but wonder what he was really like beneath his stern exterior.

Sarah's mind raced with questions and doubts about Aarav. She couldn't shake the feeling that she was marrying into a world filled with secrets and danger. She had seen the portrayal of mysterious and powerful businessmen in movies and TV shows, and she wondered if he was secretly involved in shady dealings or a dark, criminal underworld. The uncertainty and the unknown left her feeling both drawn to him and afraid of what he might be hiding.

As night fell, Sarah's mind was still buzzing with questions and doubts. She tried to push aside her worries as she climbed into bed, but they lingered in the back of her mind like a persistent shadow. She tossed and turned, her thoughts swirling with images of Aarav's stern face and the rumors she had read online. She knew she should be getting some rest before her big day , but her anxious thoughts kept her wide awake.
