Esha sat down next to Sarah, her expression concerned.
"So, I saw the bruise on your cheek. Who did that to you?" she asked, her voice laced with anger. "I swear if it was your uncle or aunt...I'll make them pay for it. They have no right to hurt you like that."

Sarah looked down at her coffee, feeling overwhelmed by Esha's reaction.
"It was my aunt" she admitted quietly.

Did Aarav know about this" Esha spoke

"No" Sarah shook her head

"Why" Esha reply

Sarah sighed,
"I don't know," she replied, her voice shaking slightly. "I was afraid he would judge me, or think I was weak for not standing up to my uncle. I didn't want him to know how messed up my family life really is."

Esha reached out and placed a comforting hand on Sarah's arm.
"You can't keep hiding things from him," she said gently. "He's your husband, Sarah . You have to let him in."

Sarah just simply nodded

Esha realized it was time to change the subject and lighten the mood.
"So," she said, her voice playful. "What about Aarav's reaction when he saw the bruise?

Sarah took a sip of her coffee, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
"You have no idea," she replied, rolling her eyes. "He was like a worried mother hen, asking a million questions and hovering over me like I was going to break at any moment."

Esha chuckled, enjoying the chance to tease Sarah a bit.
"Oh, I can just picture it," she said, grinning. "Him asking you if you're okay every two seconds, checking your bruise over and over again.""I thought ur man was heartless"

Sarah shrugged, a hint of defensiveness in her voice.
"He can be a bit gruff, I'll admit," she said. "But underneath that rough exterior, he's a lot softer than he lets on. He just doesn't like to show his vulnerable side."

Esha's grin widened as she couldn't resist teasing Sarah.
"Oh, so now you're starting to like him, huh?" she said, poking Sarah's arm. "Admit it, you've got a soft spot for your grumpy husband."

Sarah blushed furiously, feeling exposed.
"I do not!" she protested, trying to sound firm. "He's just...different than I thought he was, that's all. He's not as mean and heartless as I originally assumed."

Esha raised her eyebrows, clearly not buying it.
"Mmhmm, sure," she said, still teasing. "You just keep telling yourself that. But I see right through you, Sarah. You're falling for your grumpy husband, whether you want to admit it or not."

Sarah felt her cheeks burning and tried to shake off Esha's teasing. She hugged her friend tightly.
"Alright, alright, I get it," Sarah said, rolling her eyes. "I'll admit it, okay? He's not as bad as I thought. But don't go spreading that around, or he'll never let me hear the end of it."
Esha laughed.
"I'll keep your secret for now," she said, winking. "But I'm watching you, Sarah. And I'll be ready to say 'I told you so' when you finally admit that you love him."

They bid goodbyes to each other

Meanwhile

Aarav nervously approached Sarah, fidgeting with his hands slightly as he spoke.
"Hey, Sarah," he began, his voice slightly hesitant. "I need to talk to you about something." He took a deep breath before continuing. "My parents were thinking it would be nice if we could go on a little vacation. They suggested we go to Thailand. What do you think?"

Sarah studied Aarav for a moment, noticing how his fingers were still fidgeting with each other.

Sarah couldn't help but find the situation amusing. Despite how Aarav had come across in the past as cold and rude, in this moment he looked completely different. He was fidgeting and avoiding her gaze, his nervousness on full display.
"You seem awfully nervous, Aarav," Sarah said, a hint of amusement in her voice.

. He cleared his throat and tried to compose himself.
"I'm not nervous," he said, his voice betraying his words. "I just...I want you to agree to go with me. I think it would mean a lot to my parents if you came along."

Ok then I am fine with it" Sarah replied

"You are?" he asked, a hopeful tone in his voice. "You're really okay with going to Thailand with me?"

"Yes" Sarah said

"Ok then I will book the tickets" replied Aarav

Sarah watched as Aarav walked away, unable to hide the hint of amusement on her face. His awkward demeanor and obvious embarrassment were so different from the cold exterior he usually showed.
As Aarav entered his room and closed the door behind him, Sarah couldn't help but wonder what was going on inside his head. Why was he so nervous about asking her to go on this trip?

Aarav's pov

" Omg am i crazy why was I so nervous"
"Aarav get a grip"

"Get it together," "You're a grown man. Why are you acting like this just because you asked your wife to go on a vacation with you?"

Aarav ran a hand through his hair and tried to steady his breathing. He knew he needed to calm down and get a grip on himself, but he couldn't help but feel a pang of insecurity. Had he come across as weak and vulnerable in front of Sarah? Would she think less of him now?

Sarah's pov

I am here blushing cause Aarav asked me out to go with him to Thailand.. " he was cute"

But I quickly pushed the thought away, not wanting to acknowledge the unexpected flutter of affection that had just blossomed in my chest.

" Why my heart is beating so fast"

"No," i shook my  head slightly. "He's still the same cold and rude husband I know. This is just a momentary lapse in his usual demeanor."

But the way he looked at me it was so soft .it's like
I  couldn't deny the hint of vulnerability in his expression, and the way he had nervously asked me to go on the trip with him.
"He looked so uncertain and unsure," "Like he was really worried that I would say no."

"Ahh" I will go crazy

"What's wrong with him"

No wait

"What's wrong with me"
