From Sarah's perspective

Sarah began walking down the aisle, her eyes fixed on the floor. She could feel everyone's gaze on her, and her heart was beating so loudly that she could barely hear her own thoughts. The sound of the music and the voices of the guests faded away as she drew closer to the altar, where Aarav stood waiting. She could see his towering figure, his dark suit and his stern expression. He was definitely handsome, just as Esha had said, but there was something about his demeanour that made her nervous.

.As Sarah reached the altar, she looked up at Aarav for the first time. Their eyes met, and for a brief moment, she felt a flutter of curiosity in her chest. But just as quickly, he looked away, breaking the connection. It was as if he was purposely avoiding looking at her, preferring to keep his gaze fixed on the priest conducting the ceremony.

Sarah felt a pang of disappointment, but she quickly pushed it aside and focused on the wedding rituals. She followed the priest's instructions, repeating the mantras and gestures with a shaking hand. All the while, she couldn't help but steal glances at Aarav from the corner of her eye. He remained motionless, his face betraying no emotions.

From Aarav's perspective

Aarav stood at the altar, feeling the weight of the entire gathering's gaze on him. He tried to maintain his usual indifferent expression, but secretly, he was struggling to keep his cool. He could see Sarah walking down the aisle, her slender figure swathed in a white gown. From a distance, she looked pretty, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. She seemed nervous and unsure of herself, which was not what he had expected a woman marrying into a wealthy family to be like.

As Sarah reached the altar and their eyes met for a brief moment, Aarav felt a strange sensation in his chest. He quickly looked away, focusing his attention back on the priest, not wanting to seem affected by her presence. He told himself that this was just a business arrangement, nothing more, and that he had no reason to feel anything for her. Despite his internal monologue, he couldn't help but steal glances at her as the ceremony proceeded.

He noticed her hands shaking as she went through the motions of the rituals, and there was a look of uncertainty in her eyes that he couldn't shake. It was making him feel oddly unsettled, something he wasn't accustomed to. He reminded himself again that this was just a marriage of convenience, and that there was no room for distractions, especially not from someone he barely knew.

Finally, after three long hours, the wedding ceremony came to an end. The priest pronounced them husband and wife, and the guests cheered. Aarav took Sarah's hand, his touch cold and firm, and led her to the stage. They posed for pictures together, their expressions a mix of stoicism and resignation.

The photographers snapped photos from every angle, capturing the couple in their formalwear and ceremonial jewellery. Aarav stood stiffly, his hand on Sarah's waist, while she smiled nervously, trying to look happy for the camera.

After what felt like an eternity, the day finally came to an end, and the guests began to leave. Aarav and Sarah were left standing in the now empty venue, still holding hands but no longer smiling. They were technically husband and wife now, but they knew that they were still strangers to each other.
