Narrator

Aarav Verma is the CEO of the prestigious "Verma Industries." He is known for his stern and authoritative demeanor, often coming across as aloof and arrogant to others. He is a firm believer in the power and importance of business and success, and he has little time or patience for matters of the heart. Despite his cold exterior, there is a hidden depth to Aarav, and a softer side that few have been fortunate enough to witness.

Despite his success and wealth, Aarav's childhood was a lonely and solitary one. His parents were always preoccupied with their business dealings, leaving him to fend for himself from a young age. He grew up conforming to their expectations, doing everything they asked of him without question. By the time he reached adulthood, Aarav had become a solitary figure, with no time for love or relationships, as he was consumed by his work and responsibilities.

Aarav has a reputation as a stern and demanding boss. He is feared and respected by his employees for his no-nonsense approach and his unwavering expectations. He is known to be harsh and often seems unapproachable, but deep down he is a fair and just leader who expects nothing but the best from those in his company.

Now Aarav is a 28 year old
reluctantly agreed to marry as his parents had been pressuring him to settle down and start a family. He hadn't seen the need for a romantic relationship, as he was so focused on his work and success, but he felt a sense of responsibility towards his parents and their wishes. The idea of marriage and having children was foreign to him, but he was willing to go along with it to please his aging parents.

Aarav's pov

"What you are going to marry in three days omg it's unbelievable. This cold boss is getting married"

Aarav replied annoyingly
" stop shouting in my ears Sam .. yes u heard it right I am getting married.. and what can I even do .. my parents are getting old and they getting be married"

Sam said " so u are marrying because your parents told so.. oh I see .. u being a good boy" sam mocked Aarav

Aarav gave him a stern and annoyed look
Sam and Aarav are like bestfriend.. they have been friends till childhood

Sam said again" the girl must be unlucky
That she is marrying a cold boss " Sam said in sarcasm " I hope this marriage can melt the ice u have built around ur self"

"Stop saying bullshit and now go from here" Aarav replied annoyingly

Ya ya i am going no need to get angry.. bye bye cold boss congratulations for ur upcoming marriage" sam teased Aarav and went out

Such an asshole. Aarav whispered . But his mind is occupied with lots of thoughts that will this marriage will be a disaster for him or will it be Disney land

No one's pov

As night closed in, Aarav found himself staring at the picture of Sarah that his mother had given him. He looked down at the image, taking in her delicate features and the nervous expression on her face. He was about to toss it aside and move on to more important matters, but he found himself unable to look away. There was something about her that piqued his curiosity, and he couldn't shake the feeling of wanting to learn more about the woman who would soon become his wife.

As he continued to gaze at Sarah's picture, Aarav reminded himself that this marriage was just a means to an end. He didn't believe in love or romantic relationships, seeing them as nothing more than distractions from more important matters. To him, this was merely a business arrangement, a necessary step to satisfy his parents' wishes and to continue the legacy of his family. Love and emotions had no place in this equation.

After staring at the picture of Sarah for a moment longer, Aarav set it aside and turned off the light. He lay down in bed, forcing himself to sleep .As he closed his eyes, he reminded himself that this was a marriage of convenience, and that his heart was not to be involved.
